Vikavolt or Alolan Raichu or Magnezone or Jolteon

    So, am thinking of doing a second playthrough. Used Vikavolt for playthrough 1. I'm unsure of which to use for playthrough 2. I apologize for what little information I provided here. Thanks in advance for any help.
     
    Go with Alolan Raichu if you want to stick to new stuff, plus he's a beast and has his own Z-Move. ;)

    Any of the other options are good too, I wouldn't suggest Vikavolt since you already used him, but Magneton can easily hold his own until Vast Poni Canyon, and Jolteon is just good.
     
    Magnezone and Vikavolt are good Pokémon, the only downside is that you can't access them until the final island when the game is pretty much almost over. As for the other two, I'd probably go for Alolan Raichu over Jolteon due to the dual Psychic typing and the fact that it can learn some decent moves.
     
    Alolan Raichu did me really well. Plus it's more easy to access since you only need a Thunder Stone (you can easily buy one at the stone shop in Konikoni City).

    The main issue is holding off Pikachu's evolution for Thunderbolt if you want Alolan Raichu's special Z-Move since the TM is in a postgame-only. You can learn it through the Move Reminder at Mount Lanakila, but that's like right before you face the Elite Four.
     
    I would choose to use Vikavolt since he got pretty neat stats
    But has a 4x weakness to Rock type so be careful

    The other downside i see with him is that you gotta have him until you reach Vast Poni Canyon which is on the last island of the game.

    Electric isn't weak to Rock, so it's 2x. He actually doesn't have any 4x weaknesses. ;)

    Vikavolt is Bug/Electric with Levitate.

    It has less weaknesses than Raichu but be mindful Vikavolt gets outsped by pretty much anything in the game. Raichu has the speed but both it and Vikavolt can't take hits well, which hurts Vikavolt even more.
