Back in the old days, Victreebel was an absolute menace. Normally was Lonely, Swords Dance with Sludge Bomb... but now Sludge Bomb is a Special attack, so Victreebel has become slightly pointless. You may want to go with the SunnyBeamer set, although she doesn't pull it off very well:

    Victreebel
    Modest Nature
    - Sunny Day
    - Solar Beam
    - Sleep Powder
    - Sludge Bomb

SunnyBeam for a decent STAB, and Sludge Bomb for a STAB, although not as good as if physical (even then, Poison is a bad attacking type). And Sleep Power is a good status move.

yeah you should definitely have sunny day, it not only gives solarbeam a decent STAB, but victreebell has the ability chlorophyll, which doubles speed in sunny day

Someone from serebii forums give me the moveset. sadly

Well, to rate that moveset, I'd have to say lol.

Razor Leaf (and any physical STAB Victreebel can learn) doesn't pack the power to make good use of Swords Dance, and doesn't pack enough power in general IMO, and Return on her is just plain yuck. Never use Normal type moves on non-Normal Pokemon, that's the basic rule (there are exceptions with the Double-Edge/Rock Head combo, though... but don't worry about that one).

    here's what i suggest.

    Victreebel @ Leichi Berry
    Adamant/Jolly/Impish Nature
    180 HP/224 ATK/104 SPD
    -Razor Leaf
    -Natural Gift (80 BP Fire)
    -Swords Dance
    -Sleep Powder

good luck if you plan on using this thing. it really really fails. i like Victreebel a lot myself, but I don't use it at all. it really really fails =/. only thing it is good for is taking in fighting and grass attacks. other than that, it really fails lol.

    here's a special set:

    Victreebel @ Heat Rock/Life Orb
    Timid/Modest Nature
    252 SP ATK/252 SPD/4 DEF
    -Solar Beam
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Hidden Power Fire
    -Sunny Day

if you can't get Hidden Power Fire, then there's no point in this thing at all. it needs hidden power fire for steel types, other grass types and ice types. with sunny day and that ev setup, it outruns almost EVERYTHING.

well Victreebell used to be part of my Girly Girl team before D/P. it got replaced by Roserade.

aside from Roserade, there are a lot of GOOD grass types. go take a look at them @ Serebii's pokedex.

How about my personal fav, Vileplume? He seems to have benifitted from the D/P switch, and I'm using him for my team.

She's one of my favs too! One of the better SunnyBeamers, and a heck of a Special Defense stat.

How about Exeggutor? Bad Special Defense, but decent enough HP and Defense to be considered bulky. He gets the Speed boost from Sunny Day along with a STAB Solar Beam, AND he gets a STABed Psychic. He has great Special Attack too, so I think he's one of your better options.

I never been so happy to see so many peole like Vileplume *sheds a tear*. But would Calm be the best nature? And if your still looking for grass types, Roserade is nice.

A lot of people would go with Careful, but now that Sludge Bomb is Special, Calm is the way to go. No physical moves, and boosting an already impressive Special Defense. Calm works best for both sets: Sludge Bomber and SunnyBeamer. (keeping 'em separate because you want to take advantage of Plume's surprisingly wide array of recovery moves).

Modest can work too , but you rarely see that one.

actually, i have mine at Bold Nature. i use it to absorb Close Combat and surprise raep with HP Fire.

The good thing about Exxeggutor is that it can take an icebeam from ANYTHING on the first turn, which then it would sunny day then sleep powder with its speed boost from clorophyll and start sweeping.

    Exxeggutor@Leftovers
    Nature: Calm//Careful
    Ability: Clorophyll
    -Solar Beam
    -Sleep Powder
    -HP Fire
    -Sunny Day

exegg can't take an ice beam unless you give it calm nature with full sp defense evs and full HP. the guy has base 65 special defense. because of his moderate HP, it's fine to think he can survive an ice beam, but if he's going to do any sweeping, he shouldn't be having to take in any ice beams. on the other hand, he's great for bringing him against ground and rock types, therefore forcing the switch and using Sunny Day for the speed boost.

What about Cherriblim? Heh heh, that's a joke,
