[Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl] Version Exclusive

    So I recently came across a leak that said that Houndour-Houndoom were SP exclusives.

    Is there any truth to that?
     
    Honestly not sure. Seems to be a couple of different version exclusive lists going around right now, and I see some mention Houndour and Houndoom being SP exclusives and some not.

    I do not see Houndour/Houndoom anywhere on it at any rate.
     
    In every dual-launch of Pokemon games there are exclusive pokemon for each version, while not sure about Houndoom, you can just wait for one day after the release (in a few days) and get all the info then if you can't find it sooner.
     
    Looking at that list hard to know what to pick I am going for a water starter

    It has! It's exclusive to Pearl in the original DP and Black in BW. May be others, but I can't remember off the top of my head right now.

    Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was exclusive to Pearl following in the originals, but it's a bit confusing right now because of conflicting info. :x
     
    We probably won't know until release, but if they stick to the originals in terms of version exclusives, then they'll probably be Shining Pearl exclusives.

    Ah thank you! It's honesty been so long since I've played either of those two it sliped my mind xD
    Last I really remember seeing Houndour/Houndoom was when I used one in either X or Y ^^; but other than that, I couldn't really say what games they were in besides Gen 2 ^^;
    If it's following the original region exclusive list then we'll probably only see it in SP but with all the circulating info I guess only time will tell.
