[Poll] Version exclusive battle: Vulpix vs. Growlithe

These iconic two were some of the first version exclusives we had with Red and Blue. In Red you could catch Vulpix, while Blue had Growlithe catchable. Which is your favorite of these two?

I prefer Growlithe, Vulpix is nice but I'm more biased towards creatures that look like dogs. Plus, I find it cuter.

On that note, I too concur Growlithe and Arcanine should be gotten Alolan forms, Rock would be cool to make it an actual statue.

Vulpix is one of my favourite Kanto mons and one I've used both in a few in-game teams and in decks in the TCG so it's a landslide victory for my vote. I personally think it's cuter and I've kinda always wanted one ever since I was little.

On that note, I too concur Growlithe and Arcanine should be gotten Alolan forms, Rock would be cool to make it an actual statue.

I love the idea of an Alolan Growlithe, especially as a statue, but I think Rock would make it too similar to Rockruff/Lycanroc without the unique aspect of different forms. I think Ice/Fairy was completely out of left field for Vulpix/Ninetales but ended up working, so I think there's a lot of creative liberty to brainstorm with.

It would definitely be getting a regional variant sooner or later because most of the pure Fire mons of gen1 are although I'm not sure about Ice again. Maybe Rock, like a previous user suggested, that would be pretty nice!

This is a tough vote, but I cast it towards Growlithe. The white fur under it's neck is really cute. It looks like a scarf.

I have always loved Vulpix since Day 1 and Alolan is even cuter so this was a very easy vote for me.
