Vaporeon Moveset

    I want to use a vaporeon on my team but i dont know of this moveset works :x

    Vaporeon@Leftovers
    Nature: Calm [ + Sp.Def / - Atk ]
    EVs: 188 Sp.Def, 176 Sp.Atk, 76 Def, 60 HP, 10 Spd
    (Water Absorb)
    ~ Ice Beam
    ~ Wish
    ~ Haze
    ~ Acid Armor

    Ice Beam to counter Dragons/Grass mons, Wish for teamhealing which i don't want to change, Haze for hazing doh, and Acid Armor to eliminate his weak Defense.
     
    I think you should leave the hazing to something like Weezing. Most stat raisers, if they raise offensive stats, usually raise attack. Weezing can take attacks from physical, and does fairly well against special too. Vaporeon gets pwned with its weak physical. If you are going to haze, you would probably have to switch Vappy out, since people wouldn't like to keep those good attack raisers, or should I say OU, like salamence, belly drummers (Vaporeon has too good special offense for a half life poke), the like. So, chances are, you would not have boosted your defense when you have Vaporeon haze. Thus, you are likely to get heavily damaged or knocked out. Furthermore, Vaporeon has slow speed. Unlike Weezing, Vaporeon can be damaged strongly physically (weak defense) and specially (weakness). I think haze shouldn't go on it...
    So I suggest surf over haze, a good STAB move. I hope this helped.

    You could also roar stat raisers out with a physical defender like Donphan.

    Works perfectly.

    Above moveset works fine.Mind u status destroys it.Rest and toxic could also work in place of roar/wish.Toxic does a dent in cune [luckily he can't do anything to u but phaze - surf only moveset that is]....
    also 110 subs aint shabby so u may wanna think of that.....BP would work in that case.

    Yeah I was thinking of Rest over Wish but then I'd have to redo my entire team. @.@ It's mainly to fight back vs Ttar and Sala.

    have surf > acid armor... theres also the option of toxic > wish but it isnt necessary

    :p I guess. I just didn't know what to take out for surf. It's quite useful, so I used my own stupid reasoning XD

    hmmm
    well roar and wish works wonders don't get me wrong...but toxic is all blahish and stuff for it.........
