    I recently started this anime called Usagi Drop.

    It's all about this guy named Daikichi who has returned home to attend his grandfathers funeral only to learn that his gramps had an illegitimate daughter and the mother had abandoned her.
    The rest of the family is extremely embarrassed over her and no one wants to take care of her.

    Sensing that she may be abandoned, Daikichi adopts her.

    It's somewhat of a cute/bitter sweet anime about the hard ships of becoming a parent and what that means.
