I recommend you stick some more EVs in its HP stat. It already gets a boost for special defense from the nature.

Umbreons offensive stats are too low to do any really damage. I recommend having Umbreons signature move in there - Mean Look. Umbreon is meant to function as a baton passer. Locking a Pokemon with Mean Look then either using attacks like Charm, Yawn or Toxic on your opponent and pasing on the torch to another Pokemon who could eliminate the threat.

    My current Umbreon moveset is:

    -Mean Look
    -Toxic
    -Baton Pass
    -Wish/Moonlight

Umbreon is NOT a Physical Sweeper.

Umbreon is a support pokemon for the most part. It did well as an annoyer in 3rd gen but with powerful fighting moves like Closecombat and Focus Punch on many teams, It really won't get much annoying done anymore. These days, I personally like the curse-breon and taunt-breon. Punishment's personally met my Umbreon on wifi so he knows how effective this guy is.

    Umbreon@leftover
    ability:Synchronize
    nature:Bold
    evs:252hp, 200def, 58sdef
    -mean look
    -moon light
    -curse/taunt
    -baton pass

you need a lot of defense to survive close combat when it's unavoidable. this guy can mean look an opponent, and then baton pass it to a teammate on your team that's resistent to it. Very very useful. you can even choose to pass along a couple of curses too. I used to have an aracine with white herb, and 6 curses+white herb+extreme speed was a great combo and took down entire teams.

I feel like a retard. I ment to say wall, not sweeper.

    Two more things:

    1) I met this umbreon twice on wifi, lost both times to it. I had to land like 3 brick breakes from a weavile to get it to half health, it then just moonlited.

    2) I don't have emerald for baton pass.

I'm seriously just wondering, if you use curse and then Baton Pass, wouldn't the speed drop transfer over to the other Pokemon?

Yes, it would. And you don't need Emerald for Baton Pass. You have a pretty crap team if you lost to that Umbreon. Ever heard of phazing?

    Umbreon @ Leftovers -- Synchronize
    252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef -- Bold
    Charm
    Wish
    Protect
    Yawn/Toxic

I'd use Yawn, but Toxic does damage. Be careful of Hera switchins.

Eevee learns Baton Pass at level 36 so you have to hold off evolution til that level.

It was the situation. He was getting free curses while I was asleep from a previous pokemon. It was also a 3 on 3 battle, which I stink at. Also, no I haven't.

If the moveset you just quoted is the Chaosbreon set [I can't remember movesets too well], then use it. Chaosbreon is the best moveset you can give an Umbreon, hence why it gets its own name.

did you not read "white herb". maybe you don't know what white herb is for but it raises any stats that's been lowered. an umbreon with x6curse can pass +6att and +6def to a white herb arcanine since white herb erases the -6speed.

also, even if aracanine didn't have white herb, extreme speed would have OHKO any pokemon that's not a wall which reists or immune as it's a first-strike move. but it's better to have white herb, and enough speed ev's to outspeed physical walls that resist extremespeed like skarmory, and hit them with flamethrower for the KO before they whirlwind you away.

Oh no, someone needs to give me an infraction for not seeing that.
