Umbreon: Feline or canine? Maybe a fox?

I think Umbreon is more of a fox than anything. Foxes are part of the canine group, and Umbreon just has more qualities of a fox than a regular dog. n_n; Though I always had hoped that Umbreon was a wolf. XD I love wolves. <3~~~

I think its a cat, but at times, it can be a fox. Crossbred and along came a catfox pokemon. Though I did choose Cat, it is still a fox(it seems at times).

Since Eevee is based on a fox while its higher forms are just morphed hybrids to the element they become... I'd say the Eevee family is fox no matter how you cut it. I say Umbreon is a fox.

Um... no, Umbreon is the most foxlike evolution of Eevee in my opinion, the others are less foxlike and Espeon is certainly a cat, not a fox... Okay, all their ears are fox ears but most of them lack a fox tail. Look my opinion of what makes something fox like is probably different from most

I do beleive Umbreon is sort of a fox, though the flatish face (Yes, it's face is flatish) seems to be something the isn't foxlike, infact the face is a bit catlike... but that's unimportant as the rest of it, except fur patterns, is completely foxlike.

Erm...Has anybody considered the fact that Nintendo based the Eevee family off cats and foxes and came up with a hybrid? To be honest, I've always considered the whole family to be cats, but I haven't taken to studying them in too much detail.

I always thought it was the other way around, because of espeon's face, plus it's leaner and stuff, umbreon is smaller and muscular like a cat. Did you see that episode where gary battled that one guy...and umbreon was just fast and an awesome jumper...but in the espeon episode it kind of stuck to the ground...Awwwe, whatever, I don't know what I'm talking about...T,T All I know, is umbreon is cat/fox...or at least I think I know...

I'm not a jerk, turd. Why does Umbreon have to be based off any animal anyway? Look at Exploud. It's a monster. Umbreon is a monster, like all Pokemon. Just because it resembles a cat or fox or whatever doesn't mean it HAS to be one or the other.

I never thought about what Umbreon resembles... maybe that's because I don't use Umbreon AT ALL. -_-; yeah....

It looks like a fox IMO.
