4th Gen Trophy Garden gone mad!

    Okay, went to Backlot's Mansion today to see what was in the garden, he said Eevee, I search for one, can't find any, leave mansion, go back to the Trophy garden, I find a Meowth. He said Eevee! I go back to him to double check, still says Eevee, I go back to garden, and eventually find another Meowth. Is this some sort of glitch?
     
    I think you encounter Pokemon from the last two days.
    Yesterday was probably Meowth for you. xD
    I remember encountering a lot of out-of-place Eevees while shiny hunting for Porygon.

    Yeah, I did have Meowth yesterday. But why would one encounter Pokemon from previous days? It doesn't make sense! Why program that at all!?
     
    it takes a day for the pokemon to be "put in the garden" (read the theories on the mansion)

    so whatever it tells you one day, look for it in the garden the day after :)
     
    Okay, I read the page on the Trophy Garden in the Diamond & Pearl Guide Vol. 2, and, yes, Pokemon are there for two days. So now I know. I should've just checked my guide first... I was just so sure it was a glitch... Oh, well.

    actually I see them on the day when I'm told its there, theres just a small chance that you'll see them.
     
    I use FR/LG to nab all of the "trophy" Pokemon. Then I breed them with a Ditto if I want a new one.
    It makes things much simpler. =3
     
    They use pokes from the day before to act as fillers, it would be pretty boring if you only ever found one poke in there at at a time.
     
    Really? I must have gotten Eevee a couple days in a row or something, because I found them the day the guy said it. :/
