    Since Bank doesnt allow you to move items over. Do you guys plan on moving your important items over to UM/US?

    I plan to. Between the Mega stones and all the BP items. It makes sense to move some of items even select berries (just one of each) to move over. It would take a bit of time to move everything but imo be worth it.
     
    How do you intend to move them over without Pokebank. Is it possible to direct trade Pok?mon between different versions of games (i.e. between Sun and Ultra Sun)?

    I would definitely be keen on transferring the mega stones and any z crystals (if possible) that are not readily available in US/UM.

    EDIT: Ignore me, I just did some googling lol. I'm relatively new to Pok?mon. I sounds like you can indeed player-to-player transfer Pok?mon within the same generation.

    A few months back I was curious about whether it was possible to player-to-player trade Pokemon from ORAS into S/M and I couldn't find a way. So I wasn't sure if it was possible to trade between different versions (versus transfer).

    I remember transferring items manually from X/Y to ORAS and that process took forever and sucked and I'm not inclined to do it again. Maybe I'll send up a few items though. But just a few.
     
    Ehhhhh. Haven't really given this much thought actually, but I don't think I will. Maybe I'll consider "transferring" over the power items at most, but I can buy them off of Battle Royale again anyway making that a pointless thing to do. Other than that, idk what else. ._.

    It's only possible if you have a second 3DS. Catch some fodder, and trade them over with the item attached.
     
    No. I mean I understand why you would want to but I won't be personally. I only have one console anyway.

    Other than using trade, what alternate methods are there to transfer items between these two generations, if any?
     
    you can get all megastones in the ultragames so there no reason trade them over
     
    Has anyone confirmed that it is possible to direct trade between the vanilla and ultra versions of Sun and Moon? I know it was possible to do it in Gen 6, but that wasn't a guarantee that it would be possible this generation.

    Having seen the cost of the mega stones in the game, I am keen to transfer my ones from Moon over to Ultra Sun. At a price of 64 BPs per stone, it would cost around 1,800 BPs to replace the mega stones that we received for free earlier this year.

    I am more than willing to sit through a long trade session with my partner's DS if it means I don't need to grind that many BPs.
