Thanks I've used the pokedex to look into it more and figure it out (haha still learning with this version please forgive me!) - next question, what causes weather to change (specifically in the wild area)? Thanks!

You can find it in the Bridge Field area of the Wild Area in normal, overcast, and foggy weather! The Bridge Field area looks like this. =) Hope you've managed to get it!
Weather is set depending on the time of the game clock. You can alter the weather by changing your date/time to specific ones if you don't want to wait until you get the weather you need. There are guides online for doing that.
