3rd Gen "They don't seem to like each other"

    I left Pokémon with the daycare in Saphire that should be able to breed. Still the old man says they don't seem to like each other. Should I first finish the elite four? Or what is the problem?
     
    First what are the two pokemon.
     
    I read a FAQ from GameFAQs and this is what it said

    "If it says they prefere to play with other pokemon, there is no chance of
    getting an egg.
    The more friendly the two are, the faster they will produce an egg (usually,
    it's all based on chance). Even if it says "A doesn't seem to like B", this
    will still produce an egg, it will simply take longer."
     
    ok, super! so its more like an arranged marriage that will still produce children. no problems with that
     
    yea, you just need patience, and i know that i am not a patient guy.
     
    Arranged marriage? You guys sure are inovating my breeding concept . Well, I make daycare a brothel. My ditto's named Mistress and she has gone to bed with all of my pokémon except her own children. She is also known as Madam Vandersexxx, and she will later be suceeded by Madalena, another ditto with such purposes. I don't like when my pokémon dislike themselves , but it's just as people,what can we do.
    Arranged marriage is a term that really seems fitting.

    I've bred pokemon like that before, you just have to wait about 1 minute. If you have Ruby/Saphire/Emmerald, then get a mach bike and ride through Mauvile (In & Out), after you do it 4-8 times depending on how much they like each other they will produce an egg. It's so quick and easy on those games. Fire Red/Leaf Green, same thing, just ride and be patient.

    Yes, it's Eurotripbased. I passed on the title I had myself for a friend Vanessa (who's after I gave name my first Milotic ( the other one was a feebas called Vanity. And he couldn't do it. ) But I don't feel bad. Vanessa has Rash Nature . And you know what that means ; ) When she wins all the beauty contests , I'll be happy. )
