Hello everyone! My name is Leafyyy, but you can call me Joe or Leafy or whatever I don't really mind. I'm a 30 year old from Australia who's been into the Pokemon games since Pokemon Red in '96, I've had every mainline Pokemon game and I'm currently playing through the Scarlet DLC. I also collect the Pokemon trading cards!

A little bit about me, I like alternative punk/emo/heavy metal music, my favourite bands are Hot Mulligan (saw them live last year!), Bring Me The Horizon (also saw them live last year!), Yellowcard and a few others. My favourite games (other than Pokemon) are World of Warcraft, Silent Hill 2, Dead By Daylight and I'm a huge fan of the Disgaea series. Oh and also Final Fantasy!

I have 2 pet cats, one little calico without an eye called Princess Erika (Rikki for short) and she is an adorable sweetheart and the other a big orange man named Captain Zapp Brannigan. They are both 3 years old and I've had Rikki since she was 5 months old and Zapp since he was 1.5!

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and making this community a little home, I've been looking for a Pokemon community for a while now and this place seems to fit the bill!

My favourite game of the series would probably have to be either Gold or Heart Gold; I'm torn between the nostalgia of the original and the quality of life changes in the remake, but Gen 2 is hands down my favourite.

ooooo love that! i've fallen out of love with Gen 2 recently tbh (in terms of gameplay anyway, soundtrack always banger) but i really love HGSS for certain.

I'd fallen out of love with it too for the longest time and then I picked up Gold again recently and fell right back in love with it! Such an amazing game and as far as Pokemon storylines go, I really liked the overarching one of Gen 2.

It's their 20th anniversary of Ocean Avenue and I remember using that as backgroumd music for my WoW videos when I was a kid haha I'm so excited!

Anyway, well, welcome to the forums!
I have to say that unfortunately I don't know the bands you just mentioned, I have to do some research.
I'm sure they are great bands with excellent music!
However, I know some of the games you said, but most of them I haven't played.
Some examples are World of Warcraft, Dead By Daylight, Silent Hill 2 Disgaea and Final Fantasy.
Of these last two games, specifically, I ended up getting to know them through two friends who play the titles of these two franchises a lot. They are excellent games, I admit!
But apparently, I think the only one I played, of those you mentioned, was Pokémon.
And do you have cats? It must be incredible! They must be two adorable beings.
And well, apparently you looked for a community and found a great place!
The PC - Which I think is the acronym for "PokéCommunity", I don't know, I'm one of the new faces here - is a great community!

I remember being able to chip at that level 14 Onix with a handful of low level Pokémon spamming moves! XD
A female Nidoran was the one who finally dealt the last blow!
Good memories! ^^

I did not do much about Pokémon Day, but my day was nice, and I hope yours was too!

I was kinda taking a break for a bit from SV. but the Meowscarada raid made me launch it again... currently doing some dex completion in a child account for some more apriballs so I can catch the kitty in one so that I can breed it in a Moon Ball :fufu:

From those bands and games only one I'm familiar with is Bring Me The Horizon... their crossover with Babymetal (Kingslayer) is a regular in my playlists =3

Do you have any favorite Pokemon? Or perhaps a fav Pokemon card from your TCG collection ? =3

I had to restart my game due to my Switch breaking and getting a new OLED one so the little I played of it I enjoyed!

Dang, sorry your Switch broke on you like that. If you happen to play through it again, just be aware the final DLC area is really awesome looking.

Of course, it's what I do. :p

Glaceon is my all time favorite still, ever since gen 4. Alolan Ninetales is getting close to it. Amaura/Aurorus are awesome too =3
Some other top picks would be Delphox, Meowscarada and Indeedee.... and all the eeveelutions =P
