Here is where you can discuss Ghost-types just wanting to have fun in "The Tower of Terror."

    My review to come forthwith.

(OMG, I took from a Cyndi Lauper song. I'm a bad man. Heh.)

Hmm not so good. Brock yelling at Charmander was very out of character. Ash and Pikachu dying was kind of odd...why didn't we get to see Pokemon Tower? Dead Pokemon. Although, Ash thinking Team Rocket were ghosts was hilarious XD

This episode wasn't as good as the last. Ash and Pikachu "dying" was really weak. Also, the fact that their bodies, especially Pikachu's, weren't crushed got me really confused.

The chandelier (can't spell) falling reminds me of another programme...I think it's Only Fools and Horses...Edit: yep, it was

Anyway, what I reckon is, is that they were just knocked out and the ghosts pulled out their spirits? I dunno...

I never did think they died, not even when I watched it all those years ago, it would make no sense otherwise. And I never though of them as ghosts, just spirits or souls or whatever of themselves flying.

Dogasu was wrong "Gengar just wants to tag along" it's Haunter, or Ghosto.

What's the difference between a spirit and a ghost?

Dogasu, wrong? Good job spotting that. I never noticed.

By the way, Ghosto is a horrible name. Just like Lizard.

Well, I don't know. But I see spirit as...Er, well not dead, but your spirit. I suppose I'm using it as another word for soul, sort of. I don't know. But what happened to Ash and Pikachu, even though they weren't dead, there was something of them there? I don't even believe in this stuff, so I don't know.

I don't believe in these things either. But I'm pretty sure they said they were <.< dead. Yes, they died. The chandelier tole Ash and Pikachu to die.

*scolded and harassed by 4Kids* :classic:

Why didn't Ash keep that Haunter? Why, why, why? It could have been a great addition to Ash's team, but no, the writers just had to take the easy way out and treat it as a minor filler character! You writers suck!

Okay, aside from the mock whining, the Haunter had a great personality and it would have helped Ash's team variety. But indeed, filler. Wait, filler! Kanto is supposed to be the perfect saga! Only the later sagas have crappy filler episodes! Okay, I'll stop now.

I recall a few episodes ago that the episode made me wanna listen to Iron Maiden's Dance of Death Album

This episode especialy makes me wanna listen to the following:

    Dance of Death -Iron Maiden
    Fade to Black -Metallica
    Hollow -Pantera

    Stuff like that.

Actually, your complaint should be forward to the next episode. Said discussion is up, so go to town.
