The first episode that 4Kids officialy had the show. Strangely, it's the 10th anniversary. Congrats.

Oh, the episode? It was pretty bad if you ask me. I mean, Paris? Such a boring pokémon.

Was no-one else worried about the way this woman was just harvesting her pokemon?

strange woman: Hey! Make my Paras evolve!
Ash: Why?
Strange Woman: Because Parasect's mushroom has super-strong healing properties!
Ash: So you're going to force this pokemon into evolution, then slice off improtant parts of its body in order to make whack-job potions ?
Strange Woman: Yeah, will you help?
Ash: ..........why not?

They're all the same. It's amazing I've stayed on so long.

Anyway, I thought that the mushroom harvesting would be obvious a little Misfortune.

Aww this episode is so hated, but I think this episode is cute because of Meowth. Although, it is pretty weird it's attracted to a human...hmm...and it's also funny when they're battling Paras but it's too weak XD I remember not wanting to train one in Red version because I remember it was so weak in the anime, heh. Oh yeah, and when Charmeleon gets defeated by Paras is pretty funny, too XD

Team Rocket do something good and help give confidence to the Paras, but are ignored for doing this...it's a lot like the Ditto one where they help Ditto to transform but no one ever recognised Team Rocket helped.

....Speaking of this episode being hated, I'm surprised that Dogasu didn't blow a gasket towards this episode like he did with "Strategy tomorrow, Comedy tonight" (the one that Dogasu get's into huge rants with), considering how it dealt with the same concept.

As for Charmeleon being beaten by Paras, what's even more funnier is that TR was the reason why Paras was able to beat it.

Actually, here's what I don't get. They are able to train pokemon in such a way where the pokemon in question is able to "level up to a high level" quickly, and yet, how were they able to lose to a barely even alive Caterpie with even less experience?

Well, in the case of Ditto, it was a bit understandable (They did try to steal Ditto, not to mention, they tried to trick Duplica by giving them Meowth when it seemed like they were trying to make amends. Plus, they did seem to acknowledge that TR helped with the transformation, as evidenced by Duplica's thanking them, as well as the kids also being surprised that TR helped.), though... yeah.
