I just made this today, and boy does it annoy the **** out of everyone...
I call it Haxbat out of how annoying and haxist it is.

WARNING!- If you use this set, it is harder for Haxbat to take it's full potential in sleep clause battles...

Basically you make them sleep, confuse, sleep again if they switched, nasty plot up while their sleeping, and hax em' out with air slash.

This is the key sentence in the post. Seriously, I don't really see this working unless you give it mean look, and even then trapbat really sucks.

Really? Becuase whenever i use PBR wifi Jynx pwns...i guess that's probably why.

I didnt like trapbat so i decided to do something else with it. Even if there's sleep clause you can still flinch the hell out of it. It's a faster poke to use then togekiss though togekiss is tankier and has serene grace. But i'm just a big fan of crobat ^-^

Yeah, but this wouldn't work in UU play, let alone OUs. Besides, steels and electrics just laugh at you and it just isn't pretty...

But i do wana keep the hypnosis/confuse ray to piss ppl off.

Just don't use it. Seriously, it isn't going to work. Hypnosis is cool, watch sleep talker come in, or just sleep clause can screw you over.

Confuse ray is there to stack over Hypnosis. And it's always been a personal favorite of mine. Basically because if you hit Blissey with it, it wastes a turn uses Aromatherapy or a switch so i could either get a free Move...which maybe with your suggestion, would be an attack or a substitute.

So any decent battler will just use this against you, and all this crobat would really be is a waste of a team slot. And possibly a death sentence for your team.

taunt makes physical walls angreh, preventing donphan and the bunch from setting spikes/stealth rock and blissey from paralyzing/recovering its hp. u-turn helps you predict a switch and bring in a perfect counter.

crobat isn't an 'annoyer'. it's a tool. no pun intended.

Well that's a really big let-down...to be honest that post actually depresses me a bit =(

Like I said earlier, early bird or Insomnia can really screw you over.

Way to take me out of context.

It doesn't fail anyways as a sleep inducer, you just have to be smart using it. I always never used it until my opponent was unprepared and then I just really screwed them over. You just have to be smart, especially since crobat isn't especially bulky.

Crobat isn't really a very good hazer...it isn't bulky enough. Really, the only thing I've found crobat for is a surprise sleep in the late game or a CBer. But they kind of ruined that this gen...

EDIT: Hypnosis has to be played smartly to work on crobat...

No im smart when i use, i ALWAYS confuse ray before hypnosis because hypnosis doesnt always hit. I like confuse ray because there isnt a clause (maybe sept status clause) that stops confuse ray. I usually swich it out for Bronzong or if he's on my team Steelix if i know he's boned...

You aren't understanding what I'm saying. You realise that confuse ray is only guarenteeing a switch, right? So then what, you put the incoming pokemon to sleep, it switches to activate sleep clause...and that's it. then crobat becomes useless.

I mean using it with perfect timing, and there often aren't these situations, probably why I don't like hypnosis on crobat. There are pokemon that are better sleep inducers anyways...jumpluff, milotic...gengar...
