    [PokeCommunity.com] The Legendary Beasts

Generation II bought us six new legendary Pokemon. Among those six, were the three Legendary Beasts. They are said to embody the three events that happened to the Brass tower: the lightning that struck the tower, the fire that burned in the tower, and the winds and rain that put it out. After your initial encounter, these Pokemon can be found roaming the region unless you're playing Crystal Version.

Which of these caught your interest? Which of these is your favorite? We're you hoping the Raikou and Entei played a bigger role in the games? If so, how would you have liked them to be incorporated?

Raikou is my favourite - coolest design - but I like all of them. Currently I'm using Entei in my team and it's a disaster; it won't learn Flamethrower until level 51 and until them I'm stuck with pissy Ember. Suicune is a very beautiful Pokémon and I like how it's in Pokkén Tournament, but I wish that Raikou had a more prominent role...

Not that it's going to matter in any post gen 3 games. Enter is a physical sweeper.

Although I love fire types, Enter certainly is not my favourite. Here's the stats of the beasts:
Raikou (user of mainly special attacks with Electric attacks)
    HP - 90
    Attack - 85
    Defense - 75
    Special Attack - 115
    Special Defense - 100
    Speed - 115
    Best speed of the three.
    -Weak to common attacks.
Entei (user of mainly physical attacks with Fire and mix attacks)
    HP - 115
    Attack - 115
    Defense - 85
    Special Attack - 90
    Special Defense - 75
    Speed - 100
    Very versatile.
    - Lacks a great physical STAB move with Fire Fang being its best physical fire-type move, and flare blitz entei is kinda rare.
Suicune (user of defensive moves with Water and/or Ice moves)
    HP - 100
    Attack - 75
    Defense - 115
    Special Attack - 90
    Special Defense - 115
    Speed - 85
Great defenses, especially when using Calm Mind in synergy.
-Very slow to ultilize its strength.
Personally, I think Suicune's the best because of its defenses while at the same time using Calm Mind to get stronger, becoming an effective wall but it's up to you. If you want a defensive pokemon, gowith Suicune, or if you want a special sweeper pokemon, go with Raikou, or if you want a physical sweeper, go with Entei. Yeah, I should have answered this keeping gen 2 in mind, but who cares anyway..

    1. Will forever be Raikou thanks to my love for electric types and its design.

    2. Suicune and its design + plus it can really take damage and shake it off.

    3. Entei....was never really a fan tbh. I like its look but I could never use it for some reason.

Basically all this! Except I'm not currently using Entei ahha. Raikou was first my fav because it was the underdog, but I really like its design over the other too.

I honestly really like all three design wise, even though they aren't that amazing competitively. My favorite would have to go to Suicune, though. I have no real reason for this, Suicune just grabbed my interest the most I suppose. I'd gladly use any one of them competitively, as they feel very fun to use.

Yea, compared to other region trios, Johto's beasts are the best designs imo. The Unova ones just... They're too goofy kinda?
