My favourite Sinnoh starter is Chimchar even though I hate the sinnoh reigon!

I really dislike all three starters. They're all too....cute! None of them are cool. Squirtle was cool. Bulbasaur was cool. Even Charmander was cool!

If I HAD to choose, though, it'd be Chimchar, simply because I prefer Fire over water and grass.

I prefer Turtwig, but I find myself using Chimchar more often because of the pathetic lack of good fire-types to be found in Sinnoh (as opposed to the abundance of good grass- and water-types)

Turtwig is by far the coolest. That's not really saying much though. I really dislike the Sinnoh region and it's starters. It's true that they're trying to make everything cute. Just look at the trainers' faces and the original Bulbasaur compared to the updated one. It really sucks. D:

I really dislike all three starters.

I agree. Not with the cute part though...They look horrid. I'm the vain trainer that only likes pretty Pokemon, that's why I like Pokemon like Froslass and Dragonair.

Since I had to choose, I'd choose Piplup or Turtwig since I hate Fire types

Turtwig, simply because Torterra is the coolest looking final-evolution since Charizard.

I didn't even want any of those monstrosities, they are some of the ugliest little Pokemon I have ever seen.

When I hear "Piplup" I think about the annoying blue penguin that's in the anime, so he's out of the question.

When I think of Chimchar I think of Infernape. Because of this image and this image, I am now afraid of him. ._.

I'll go with Turtwig, he was the one I chose and boxed anyway, and Torterra doesn't look too bad.

it's funny how a lot of people are saying that the sinnoh starters suck - i think they [along with the johto starters] are the best starter pokemon yet!
in my opinion, the kanto and hoenn starters are horrendous.

that aside, though, my favourite sinnoh starter is definetely chimchar.

I think Chimchar. He's evo line is pretty cool. Though for Diamond I chose turtwig. Torterra is awesome! There's like... a garden... on it's back!. So it;s between Chimchar and Turtwig. Piplup annoys me for some reason. It's cute... but annoying. Prinplup is ugly too.
