A quick note: As I know a lot of people dislike using Flash, I'll be looking into games powered by other tools, like HTML5, which is what this week's game is made with. As I don't know much about programming and the like, I'm not sure if this is better or worse for some, but please let us know if there are any issues with HTML5 we should be wary of and we'll try our best to accommodate in the coming weeks. :) MAME has been suggested and considered, but after someone pointed out the possibility of cheating using save/load states, we decided it might not be best to go with that.

No, that's not a typo - the game we're playing this week is not Tetris, but Tentrix! And yes, I'm biased towards these kinds of games so if you're sick of them, don't worry - promise we'll switch it up in the future. :P

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Every Tuesday, a new game will be chosen for the arcade, and you guys will have a week to compete for the top score! To enter, all you have to do is submit a screenshot of your score, and you can try as many times as you like within the week.

• A note of caution for Tentrix! The score goes away on its own once the game is over, so be prepared to grab your score really quickly once you get that Game Over screen. Alternatively, if you know your next move causes a game over, you can also screenshot before your final move for more time.
  
• Tentrix records a top score (the number on the right) as well as the most recent score (the number on the left) - for the arcade, we will only be taking your most recent score.
  
• You may submit as many scores as you like anytime before 12PM PST of the next Tuesday.

SCORING

The top 3 scorers by the end of the week will earn points for the leaderboard as follows:

First place: 15 points
Second place: 10 points
Third place: 5 points​

These points are cumulative, so if you come back each week you can add to your leaderboard score, and the top 5 scorers of all time will be displayed in the splash, just like the top scorers of the weekly trivia.

If you participate in The Legend of PokéCommunity, you will also earn EXP for placing first (25 EXP), second (20 EXP) and third (15 EXP)!

Wait till we do Bastard Tetris ( ?? ?? ??)

The main difference between Bastard Tetris and other versions of Tetris is that Bastard Tetris chooses Tetrominoes to give the player based on what the player does not need. In other words, the game actively tries to make it more difficult for the player by giving him or her pieces that are not needed and that are harmful.

The turnout wasn't great this time around - maybe it was the game choice? Stay tuned for this week's arcade, which will be up shortly! And feel free to throw out suggestions for games you'd like to see in the future, even if we don't use the exact one I'd like to know what sort of (free/accessible) games everyone is interested in. :)

Anyway, the splash has been updated with this week's scores! Graine and Soapy can add 20 and 15 EXP to their LoPC characters respectively for this event, if you guys have not done so already.
