Surf Pikachu?

    How do I get a surf Pikachu in my Yellow?
    I just beat the Premium Cup (hope, it's the right name) in my Pokemon Stadium with my Pikachu from Yellow without losing any battle. But I didn't get a surf Pikachu-_-

    So what do I have to do to get one?
     
    By premium cup, did you mean the prime cup? I checked on a faq site and it said:

    Surfing Pikachu
    Put the Pikachu you started with in Yellow in your party for Round 2 Prime Cup Master Ball. You MUST USE THAT PIKACHU IN EVERY BATTLE of Round 2 Prime Cup Master Ball. After you defeat the final trainer, your Pokemon will be put in the Hall of Fame and Pikachu will learn Surf! You can now play the Surfing Pikachu Minigame in Yellow version as well.

    Blah blah, you already knew most of that... so I guess maybe you accidentally
    did the premium cup instead of the prime cup. Otherwise, I have no other idea
    of how to do it. I played yellow when I was 12 and for some reason I thought
    you could only get the surfing pikachu with that weird pikachu game that used the sensor on the gameboy color. The surfing pikachu is in Pokemon Battle Revolution, but I'm guessing you're a fan of the older games.
     
    Hmm... I think Prime and Premium Cup are the same, I just used the German version where the name is different.
    And yes, I meant Pokemon Stadium, not Pokemon Battle Revolution.
    But my Pikachu didn't learn Surf, although I thought about every rule to get it.
    Could that be, because I traded my Pikachu to Red before? But when I traded it back there were no differences, so I don't think this is the mistake.

    • Enter the R-2 Prime Cup's Master Ball division (you have to beat the first three divisions first).
    • Assemble a team that contains a Pikachu that does not yet know Surf. You HAVE to use a Pikachu from your Game Boy game. You cannot unlock Surfing Pikachu using a Rental Pokemon.
    • Do not register your team! Pick it directly from your Game Boy cartridge.
    • You now have to beat the Prime Cup's Master Ball division using a three-Pokemon team that always contains Pikachu. Pikachu has to be in every one of the eight battles.
    • You are not allowed to use any continues. If you do, you won't get Surfing Pikachu.
