Do you prefer watching Pokémon subbed or dubbed?

As of right now, I'm actually enjoying the subbed version as I'm seeing the episodes are they were intended to be shown.

I am watching the on-going sub of Best Wishes at the moment, and I am enjoying it.

But, I do prefer watching the dub to be honest, it kinda takes the pleasure out of watching it when you have to pay attention to the text underneath to understand what they are saying, it's not strainful or anything - just annoying at some times.

Anyway, it's was really only 4Kids who messed around with things or didn't air it for stupid reasons. But honestly I found them funny not annoying. 4kids hate riceballs:

I have watched quite a few episodes in Japanese which weren't subtitled, and it was really a pain to understand what was going on. xD I'd rather watch them once they are dubbed.

To me, I really don't mind if the anime was subbed or dubbed. As long as there's English either in words or in audio, it's alright for me.

I grew up watching dubbed, but I've been watching Best Wishes and that's only subbed right now... I must say I prefer subbed at this point, but perhaps that is because I like Best Wishes more than any other season. We shall see how the dub fares.

I have to say I prefer the dub, purely because I've watched it dubbed from the start.

But when I do watch it subbed I don't dislike it, but it's annoying to have to read the text while watching what's going on.

Ps. that video with Brock going on about the 'jelly filled doughnuts' made me lol.

It really depends, but since I hardly watch it anymore because of how bad the anime has gotten in the last few years.. none.

They both have their pros and cons. I don't know any Japanese, so there's the burden of reading what the characters are saying. However, the Japanese episodes always have better music than the English ones. Actually, the music issue is the only thing that I really hate about the dub. I don't really mind the voices or dialogue. TPCi has definitely improved since BF, and they've always been better than 4kids.

I prefer dubbed even though I don't really like the voice actors now (actually I just don't like Jimmy Zoppi). It's just easier for me to pay attention to what's happening when I don't have to read it. And honestly, I just like it better in my own language. :/ People who hate on the dub really annoy me, thinking Japanese is the only way to go or else you shouldn't even watch at all. Pfft.

I am watching Best Wishes right now with subs though, and I like it too. I'll have to see how Iris and Dento/Cilan's (I can't decide what to call him, I'm used to Dento but I love Cilan :P) voices sound in English. When it comes to main characters like Ash and Team Rocket, I'm used to listening to them in two different voices now. xD (Or even three if I feel like watching old episodes, when 4Kids dubbed). Plus I'm going to like watching Best Wishes in English dub just to see how they change it, if they do.

I prefer dub, since it's hard for me to know what Pokemon they're talking about. But I really like watching the subbed version too. Aoi Yuki <3

I prefer watching raw over all three because I'm big on screencapping scenery and stuff but if not that, then sub because Pokemon is one of those anime where the original and the dub are two different experiences and the original has bells and whistles like with endings and previews.

However, 4kids I'll still watch the dub due to being used to it. I guess I just decided that the PUSA switch was a good time to leap from boat to boat.

id rather watch subbed pokemon anime because in subbed episodes, the actors voices stay the same not like in pokemon dubbed where ashs new voice sounds like he hit puberty, i like the voices in the japanese anime and i learn a few japanese words while i watch the episodes :)
