Howdy farmers! You've had a few years to turn your grandfather's farm into something beautiful and now us city folk are here to judge you! With this contest, we want to grade you on how you've cultivated the farm!

*cough* failure to comply will lead to the termination of your farm *cough*

Sorry about that, the dust particles from the corn harvesting got in my throat. The competition is quite simple: take a few screenshots of your completed farm and publish them below. Our panel of judges will decide whether or not your farm is better then the rest. As such, some emblems are up for grabs:

Stardew Valley Cream of the Crop
Win the Stardew Valley Farm Building competition

    Stardew Valley Budding Flower
Participate in the Stardew Valley Farm Building competition.

The deadline for our contest is April 8th 11:59 PM EST. After this period of time, we will open it up for the city folk (i.e the Video Games community) to vote on their favorite farm. Until then, happy sprucing up your farms with the finishing touches!

    YO I'M IN

I'm not sure if I can 'complete' my farm by the deadline but I'll definitely post whatever I have by the 8th! :)

If anything, I can also extend the event for a few more days if you need that extra time (: Just post here with an update when we get closer to the deadline so I can get a better idea as to what to do please and thank you <3

My farm looks like butts 'cause I let a forest grow to the left and it's still at year 1 Fall 2 but whatever, let's do this.

I've been trying to take a screenshot of my farm with GeDoSaToTool, but I keep getting the message "failed to take screenshot(lockrect)". And there's no solution to it posted :(

I'll definitely try that when I boot into windows next and use an external keyboard. I feel silly for not trying that.

If that doesn't work for some odd reason you can always go the old fashioned rite and take a cellphone picture of your screen lol :P

Tried the resolution below the highest, and it captured just fine. Couldn't get the whole farm in so I had to photoshop two halves together.

    Here's my entry: https://i.imgur.com/tLKAopS.jpg (5mb, 1920x1300)

I think I did a pretty good job remodelling the entire farm from a mess that had everything everywhere to something tidy and clean. I also blanked out a super cool spoiler that you guys should enjoy yourselves when you reach the event :)

Is there any chance of extending the contest until the 11th? The weekend will definitely be a big help for students/people who work during the week, and haven't had the time to work on their farm.

I've been nearly done for a while now, I was literally just waiting for this one tree to grow all Spring but it is really taking it's sweet time so

    Sapling: 1
    Juno: 0

I built the slime hutch in front of it (you'll notice there's a pine tree missing from the row behind it) and decided to submit this first:

    Spoiler:

Similar to Zet, I also just stitched together several screenshots since I didn't want to use a third party tool to get the entire farm in one shot, so that's why there's 4 of me on the farm and 3 energy bars on the right, lol. If an extension is happening I might update it later since I intend to use the empty space around the hutch too (and maybe that damn tree will have grown by then). :)

I used the GeDoSaTo tool for this screenshot. As for the weird placement of weathered path around my crop area, I had to remove the paths that were adjacent to the trees because they wouldn't grow :\ Will replace the paths once the trees grow. For my final farm I plan to double the fenced area for the animals (like extend the fence to go all the way down to the path that goes to the slime hutch from the crops), build one more barn, move the silos to the leftmost area inside the fence, plant trees along the path from the crops to the slime hutch, and place a bunch of produce machines like the jelly and honey things along the bottom of the farm.
