Okay, I know this isn't necessarily DPPt related thread material, but I was interested in finding out the many mysteries behind Smeargle, especially in 4th Generation, and haven't been able to find any information on the web.

Some questions I'd like answers to:

If Smeargle uses Sketch on a Metronome user, does Smeargle copy Metronome or the random move?
Can a Pokemon use Sketch through Metronome?
And if so, does the move copied through the Metronome Sketch stay?
Similar question, can a Pokemon Mimic Sketch?
[I think I know the answer to this one, but...] Do moves Sketched through Multi-player game play stay sketched? [I know I tried it once in GSC and it didn't work, but it could have changed between two generations.]
Also, a slightly similar question, can it Sketch moves permanately in the Battle Tower?

I'm 99% sure sketch works in the Battle Tower.

As for the Metronome user question, I think it'd copy the Metronome.

wht not try it out i mean just go into a double battle and try!

My DS can't go online -___-
I'd rather run the test knowing for sure what moves were going to be used by who. [...whom?... I don't care.]
I will go try out the Battle Tower thing though.

    Whoa. New problem.
    I don't even HAVE a Smeargle D=
I must've traded it to someone or released it by accident...
    Figures...
I was just reorganizing my boxes, and I kept feeling like something was missing... at least now I found out that there was -___-

I'm pretty sure than answers to your last two questions are yes (That's how people get Smeargles with moves like Dark Void).

However, this should have been posted in the Q&A thread, so I'll lock it. Please use the Q&A trhead if you have any further questions.
