Skyla or Winona?

    So, both are Flying type Gym leaders, both are the 6th Gym Leader of their region, but who do you like more and why?

    I personally like Skyla, because I don't like how Winona has hair sticking out. XD
    And, Skyla's design seems more new (because it is).
     
    I gotta agree about Skyla, she has a much cooler design. She also has the right look for a bird Pokemon master. Winona looks more like Ice or Water type trainer to me for some reason.
     
    Skyla just looks like fan service to me and she's probably the easiest gym leader in Unova. I like Winona's hair and she's a respectable gym leader that I actually remember having trouble with. Hopefully, if there's an RS remake, she'll get better apparel.
     
    Out of all the Gym leaders that specialize in the Flying-type, I actually like Falkner the best, but Winona comes in a close second. I personally prefer her design over Skyla's - Skyla's not wearing a whole lot there. :/ I think Winona's design makes her look more like a Flying-type Gym leader than Skyla's. In any case, Skyla was a total pushover whereas Winona actually put up a fight.

    Even though Winona has a terrible fashion sense, she actually looks like a skilled trainer. Skyla probably got her Gym Leading job by seducing the officials. She definitely didn't get the job by being a good battler.

    Falkner looks intimidating while wearing cool clothes, so he wins.

    If I was just going to say for eye candy then it would be Skyla, but her team is pitiful, they had Braviary and Mandibuzz to make use off, and they didn't use either of them on her team. Or at the very least give her Archeops or Sigilyph. Winona has a Shiny Swellow so she wins by default. And her team is actually worthy of a sixth gym. Here's hoping they improve on her gym in the 3rd installment, as well as the other leaders.

    I definitely say I like Skyla more. but if we're talkin best 6th gym leader of a game, with equal hotness, then I say Sabrina.

    This. Unnova region is a home of strong flying Pokemons such as Braviary, Sigilyph(this one a badass for sure) And Archeops. Why don't she have any one of those? And for the outfits, yeah, I think Gamefreak overdid this one. She is a fanservice for sure. It just doesn't feel right for her as a Flying type Gym Leader.

    So, Winona for me.

    I don't know. Skyla's cuter but Winona actually puts up a fight.

    So yeah, my vote goes to Winona. I remembered pulling my hair out when battling her Altaria.
     
    Winona was pretty tough in-game, especially if you're doing a challenge where half your Pokemon grass types. x_x Skyla on the other hand.. meh. A lot of people have already mentioned that in this thread already. So, it's Winona for me.

    I like Skyla. She looks really cool! She flies an Airplane too! She has a cool team as well. I like that she is a pilot. She is awesome.
     
    Winona. Because she's tougher, more awesome and she even has a Dragonite in the final rematch against her in Emerald! She also has a shiny Swellow, how cool is that?
     
    I like Winona better than Skyla because of the Pokemon lineup she has (Winona's Altaria was hard to take down for me).

    Anyways, I like Winona better. She always makes me want to train and train until I can actually beat her. Skyla on the other hand is downright defeated by my Zebstrika, and it was 4 levels lower than her lowest leveled Pokemon. And design-wise, I like Winona's design better because of her hair sticking out. :3
     
    Is it me, or do their designs look awfully similar?; anyway, I'm going with Winona, although I like Skyla, Winonas been one of my favourites and shes an original for me so yeah Winona :)
     
    It's rather obvious Skyla's design is fanservice, and she does her job well lol. Winona's design is far more unique and original though. I never battled Winona, so I can't compare her and Skyla. Seems like I'm unable to choose. :(
