When do you all think the shinies for Miraidon and Koraidon will be released?
I'm hoping soon—late October/November of this year. If so, that would follow both Sword/Shield and Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon's pattern of releasing shiny box legendaries around 2 years after the games' release.
Shiny Zacian was released October 22-November 11, 2021, and Zamazenta was available from November 12-26, 2021 in North America. Japan, Europe, and South Korea also had distributions around those times.
Shiny Solgaleo and shiny Lunala were available from October 21-November, 2019 in North America, and they were released around the same time in Europe, Japan, and Australia.
Interestingly enough, each shiny legendary was only available in the game opposite to it, which I hadn't realized before now. I wonder if they'll do that with Scarlet/Violet too. I've been either living in a place without physical distributions or out of touch with the games for the last times they've had these distributions, so I'm *hopefully* looking forward to catching the ones for Miraidon and Koraidon. It would be even cooler if they had more of a story behind them like Pecharunt, but I don't think that's super likely. As a side note, I'm also curious if they'll start doing some mythical distributions soon as those seem to be more common toward the end of a game's life cycle.
