    Hello everyone!

Shedinja, the elusive special Pokemon with the ability WonderGuard and the lucky advantage of only having 1 HP!! Anyway I just wanted to list all the Dos and Donts that you should/shouldn't do with a Shedinja, for I started training one, and made OH so many stupid mistakes which I found hilarious after thinking about them. I'll start off with the Donts first:

    Donts:
    -Use Max Revive on Shedinja
-Use anything stronger than a Potion to heal it
-Don't even attempt to heal it, it wont work
-Attach an Oran, Sitrus or any other berry that heals it
    -Attach Leftovers or Heal Bell
    -Teach it Rest
    -Teach it Double-Edge
    -Walk when it's Poisoned
-Send it out during a Sandstorm/Hail/Spikes Scattered etc.
-Send it out when you opponent has a
Fire, Flying, Rock, Ghost, and Dark type Pokemon

    Dos:
-Revive with Rare Candy or Revive for full health
    -Teach it Protect

    Unsure:
    -Teach it Substitute
    -Attach
    Focus Band

That's all I can think of at the moment, but thinking about these gave me a cheap laugh, and might for you.

Also, if you have any more, please feel free to submit any and I'll update this post.

    Thanks!

    Lol.
That was actually pretty good. XD
Though I don't think "Teaching it Substitute" should be under Unsure considering Substitute takes away 1/4 of your HP when you use it and Shedinja only has 1. :P

No...it would say "Can't use that!" just like when you have under 1/4 hp with any other Pokemon...I think...xD

    Focus Band isn't a bad idea...xD
    Chance of survival.
But I got one for Do's.
    Skill Swap with Sableye.
I've never tried it but if it works i believe it means that Sableye will be invincible...
    Ooh! Another Do!
"Get a lvl 20 one and use it to madly crush one of the Elite 4 that can't hurt you and laugh at their fail...xD"

It would take forever to beat one of the E4 with a level 20, though i did it with a level 37 with like 20 ethers.

    And another Do.

When it has skill swap, use it on a vaporeon or any other pokemon with the same type of effect as vaporeon. ( If she/he gets hit with a water type move, health is regenerated. )

Unfortunately, I don't think Shedinja can learn Skill Swap...
If it did, Sableye / Spiritomb will be undefeatable!!! LOL

Isnt the majority of this thread just common sense?

Sadly, Shedinja cannot learn Skill Swap within the Advance Generation

Duh, but it's hilarious if you think about it. Also shows some things that some people never actually think about.

I did it with lv.55 and owned almost all of them... (except the first two)
It's fun to have shedinja in in-game play

DO: Cool trick with a double battle -
    1. Send out Shedinja and a Ditto
    3. Let Shedinja use toxic on an enemy, usually Shedinja is faster.
    2. Let Ditto use Transform on Shedinja (in other words, morph into shedinja)
    3. Now you have two guys who can only be hit be supereffective moves.

Tips: Make sure Shedinja has some decent moves such as Shadow Ball, Silver Wind, Aerial Ace, and Thief. Adamant nature is best.

Let ditto hold metal powder for raised sp.def. Or if you have D/P, let it hold Focus sash.

Oh yeah, focus band and sash(dp) won't work with shedinja (but they will with ditto)

If Ditto Dittoed a Shed, would it have 1 HP or not...
Oh...I only noticed...neither Sheds nor Sables can learn Skill Swap..xD
Get a Normal Type with it and PWN...xD

Focus sash will work with shedinja in D/P, i've had it used against me on pbr random wifi.

And shedinja's ability can't be skill swapped under any condition, the only thing that comes close is that a pokemon with trace can trace wonder guard, but thats about all.

    Yes, you got that right.

but... only once, and shedinja sucks, if the other team has stealth rocks out say bye-bye to Shedinja.

Anyway, I think it is a little beast.

    Shedinja @ Focus Sash
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 ATK/6 SpATK/252 Speed
    Moves:
    Shadow Sneak
    Will-O-Wisp
    Swords Dance
    X-Scissor

Has anyone tried breeding Shedinja? I would but I'm too lazy to try and I'm breeding a Bulbasaur for eggs (I like to take advantage of my Pokemon, LOL).

    This thread is funny.

Wonder Guard can't be Skill Swapped, which means if Alakazam uses Skill Swap on Shedinja, the game will say, "ALAKAZAM used SKILL SWAP!" "But it failed!" If Shedinja uses Substitute, it will get the same message... "SHEDINJA used SUBSTITUTE!" "But it failed!" And Focus Sash/Band does work, just don't expect it to work all of the time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but how in the world does Rare Candy revive it? When Shedinja gains a level, it doesn't gain any HP, and also when a Pokemon is fainted and grows by Rare Candy it doesn't revive even if it does get a boost in HP.

Most of the things you listed is quite obvious.

Actually when you use a Rare Candy on a fainted Pokemon it revives with 1 HP and it levels up. Shedinja has only one HP, meaning if you leveled it up with a Rare Candy when it has fainted, it would be as if you used a Max Revive on a normal fainted Pokemon.

Yeahm Rare Candy does EVERYTHING a normal level up in battle would do; including the up of HP.
