Shedinja: the forgotten Pokemon. There are benefits and un/dis/misbenefits.

Misbenefits: 1 HP, hardly any defense.
Benefits: Special power is Wonder Guard which makes it get hit by only 3 types and Spikes, Leech Seed, and a sandstorn. The types are: fire, dark, and rock, probably more.

    How to get it:

    1. Catch a Nincada.
    2. Have only 5 Pokemon including Nincada.
    3. Have at least 1 other Pokeball type as you caught Nincada. (For example, I caught Nincada with a Pokeball. When it evolves at level 20, I should have at least 1 other Pokeball with me.)
    4. Let it evolve.
    5. Look in your party. At the last spot there should be a pokemon called Shedinja. :P

Shedinja has 5 weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Ghost, Rock and Dark.
Status effects and other attacks that damage Shedinja: Leech Seed, Sandstorm, Hail, Burn, Poison, Spikes, Future Sight, Doom Desire.

Okee. I got that. I still think that Shedinja is a great Pokemon.

yeah his ok.but one hit and he's down.i wish he had more health.

That's the whole point of Shedinja. It's supposed to die if it gets hit by something super effective, and live if it isn't. If the programmers made it with any more, then it would be a bit useless.

Also, another weakness of Shedinja is Foresight/Fighting

    'Zactly. Also, 2 things:

    1. Foresight does not do anything.
    2. Fighting has no effect. Even as a Shuppet, it goes right through it, saying it has no effect.

    It's just the truth.

Actually, Foresight allows you to hit a Ghost type with Normal and Fighting moves. Except in this case it will fail, since it's not Super Effective on Shedinja.

i find it pretty easy to win against a Kyogre (if it's your opponent's last pokemon) with a Shedinja heheh...

let's say that you use that one move that changes the type of your move so they're supereffective against your opponent. it changes super fang to fire type. superfang always deals half damage, so what would happen against a shedinja?

Conversion and Conversion2 only change your monster's type, not their move's type.

But there are some things like that (leech seed & poison) wich do effect shedinja. I guess they are always rounded up, so it would still KO shedinja.

I don't think that they affect Shedninja unless their element type is Super-Effective against it. Fissure = Ground, Horn Drill = Normal, Sheer Cold = Ice, etc.

None of the OHKO moves can affect Shedinja, since none of them are of a super-effective type.

Would Skill Swapping work on a Shedinja? And what if a Pokemon that knew Trace Traces Shedinja's ability?

You can't Skill Swap the Wonder Guard, but you can Trace it. Scariest thing to face is a Porygon2 or Gardevior who's immune to most attacks.

I would have thought being a grass/bug pokemon it would have had a weakness against ice o_O
