The thing is.. that i played my pkmn fire red cartridge after not having used it for a long time.. and i go to my storage and ALL my pkmn on ALL the boxes were turned to "bad eggs". Ive surfed the web in search for an answer and it seems those things are the result of cheating and stuff. The thing is that ive NEVER cheated, so i dun understand why all my pokmenon on storage were turned to bad eggs.. and the items they held are gone too! (party pokemon are fine).. so plz if sum1 knows how to turn these bad eggs to normal again plz lemme know.. caz all my lv100 pkmn are gone :(

maybe your game was a fake or was it used before?
Theres not turning back unless if you get a cheating device and restore your Pokemon back to normal

Oh wow! I know EXACTLY how it feels to lose all your level 100s! That actually happened to me on my FireRed Version, too, back when I used to use cheats a lot...but when I lost all my level 100s, that taught me a real lesson and I immediately dropped my cheating habits! 0.0

Pretty much the only thing I can tell you to do is you're going to have to start your game over. That's what I had to do to fix the problem. I've never heard of there being any kind of cheat out there that will restore your pokemon to the way they were. I'm really sorry this happened, especially when YOU never cheated! But yeah...if there is a cheat that will restore your pokemon, I've never heard of it.

What the **** is a "Bad Egg"?

You've never heard of a bad egg!? It's basically just a glitch that the game calls a "Bad EGG" It's actually not an egg at all really.

A bad egg is an evil glitch being from an alternate plain of existence. It warps Pokémon into more bad eggs when it sences that someone was cheating, though sometimes it becomes confused from the cartage being physically battered, and will indiscriminately screw with that cartage as if it was cheated with.

Long story short: Glitch Poke that's not only useless in battling, but can't be gotten rid of.

    (JoltIce also got me!)

Yup. Another long story short (shorter): DO NOT CHEAT!!!

hope this never happoned to my Pokémon Leaf Green file....*admit's she has also cheated on there*

    Maybe i'll check sometime...even though, i'm kinda afraid to....lol.....

Um, try restarting the game if you didn't save. (Not completely starting over)

If you saved, then I don't know what to say. Hack or something.

I hack Pearl plenty of times, but no Bad Egg found. ._.

    But Platinum.... >.>

Maybe the save data was corrupted, I think if a Pokémon's data is corrupted it automatically turns into a Bad Egg. Did you buy the game brand new or used, btw?

All of you that tell him not to cheat - SHUT UP. He already said he didn't cheat. If he wanted genuine help if he did, he would have told us (and it would be his own damn fault for not telling us).

    I wouldn't be surprised if your save file got garbled up from some kind of physical wear and tear from the game? Although I have never heard of such an occurrence before, it could because you have a faulty game to begin with, that is more susceptible to that kind of damage. You see, Pokémon are stored in the RAM, and to stop hackers, the game uses a checksum to make sure the Pokémon is legitimate - if it doesn't add up, it becomes a useless bad EGG. Unfortunately, it sounds like your RAM may have permanently screwed up, thus making those Pokémon completely useless. You will need to start a new game. ;_;

ooohh.. so its like this.. well what to do... but i dun think ill start another game lol.. dun got the time xD i guess im done in pokemon lols... anyways ty everyone for trying to help me, y'all are super :)

Listen to the dude, as the same thing happened to my Fire Red as well. However, if I was you, I would go get another copy and burn that corrupted piece of ****. That's what I did.

I use VBA and i can't continue my FR after beating the elite 4 because it say's save error so it's kinda natural bad egg :(
