Seems Racism towards black people has started reaching Pokémon (again?)

    You know how there was a Nintendo World Store launch party event in NY on Saturday, March 21st to celebrate Platinum's US release, and sell it one day early? Well, seems quite an incident took place. A flier that was roaming the Internet was apparently saying there would be a Mystery Gift to be distributed at said Event that day:

    Well, the third line regarding the Mystery Gift was intentionally photoshopped by someone in an effort to create his/her own event. Throughout the event, there were announcements through the Nintendo World Store speakers NOT to download any Mystery Gifts as they will CORRUPT your game. Also, after a while, a rotund, bearded, and generally unkempt individual dressed as a "guess what?": Team Rocket grunt (xD) was escorted out of the event by security for distributing a very, but VERY hacked Level 50 Shiny Gengar that was apparently from "Lovely Place". Seems that there were at least 2 reported Wi-Fi Mystery Gift signals at the event which ended at about 4PM.

    But the worst part is that the Gengar's Nickname, Moveset and Ability were made by some racist jerk that ruined the fun of some people. Below's a video of the distribuited hacked Gengar. If that isn't racist, then I don't know the real meaning of "racism":    ​

    That's sick but amazingly funny. o_o; Well funny as in the term that people actually believed that. Ooh and I can even spot the difference in the text too :O Too early for April Fools :[
     
    This is hilarious. The fact that someone could sink as low as to do something like this just proves how idiotic some people really are. They probably spent months hacking that one Gengar, only to have one or two people get it. That's just... wow. XD; Also, the guy having a pink DS was awesome.

    This just proves there are still people in this world that are just...stupid. They have such a sick sense of humour... >_>

    That's from the first post. However, the words aren't appropriate for PC, well, the nickname, that is.

    ... but it sounds horrible. I would've been so frustrated if I had went there. If it was supposed to be funny, it was a complete fail.

    I saw half of the video before it got taken down.

    It was a Gengar with the ability Truant hacked onto it.

    And of course the nickname was the coup-de-grace.

    This was a very horrible thing that went on. I am appalled that someone would do something like this at an event which was populated by a large amount of young children.

    Oh, and there were apparently two Mystery Gift signals. One was the Gengar and the other, whom I did not hear of them catching the suspect behind it, was apparently something to corrupt data directly.
     
    i was there and i had a feeling i knew who did that.there were 2 mystery gifts being given one was the gengar which most people got and some kid whom in my video said something to the staff at the event about it.from what i heard it was a shaymin hack which was the one corrupting the files but the gengar one you would have to use sav to overwrite the event card.one of the hackers was a regular at the nintendo world store so i have my thoughs of who could it be since most of thsoe guys are hackers anyways.the thing was b4 the event even ended both the gifts were gone already.one of them was arrested and kicked out of the event.near the end of the event nintendo staff were handing out flyers about the hacked gegar saying if you downloaded a mystery gift saying "Pokemon Platinum Launch" delete it and stuff
