My sister's giving me a gold nugget on FireRed if I can fix up her "Treeky".
I just want to see other's opinon on this, I'll try nmot to get all defensive, but some moves of his are TM one-time moves, so I'll only delete them if I must.

    Treeky/Sceptile @ MiricleSeed
    Lv. 84
    Lonely nature
    Ability: Overgrow
    Attacks:
    Dragon Claw
    Dig
    Leaf Blade
    -- -- (no attack)

    ATK:190
    DEF: 126
    SP.ATK: 194
    SP.DEF: 172
    Speed: 240

If possible, can it made so that False Swipe is used? It's super useful, and my sis just wants a powerful Treecko for both battles and catching wild pok?mon.

In battle, False Swipe is rather useless, since you want to defeat the opponent and not capture their pokemon.

Here's what I use for Sceptile on NetBattle. It's an old standard, but it works

    Sceptile@Petaya Berry
EV: 252 Speed, 252 Sp Att, 6 Def
    Nature: +Speed, - Att
    Dragon Claw
    Crunch
    Leaf Blade
    Hidden Power Fire

Now, since this is in-game, and it doesn't look like you've EV trained that Sceptile at all, I'd say you need to go read up on it.

    Attacks:
    Bulk Up
    Solarbeam
    Sunny Day
    False Swipe

    ATK:190
    DEF: 126
    SP.ATK: 194
    SP.DEF: 172
    Speed: 240

I haven't EV trained it, and my sister thinks it's useless to do it. :p Anyway, since Treeky's attack is raised by Overgrow, MiricleSeed will help raise attack too, and with Bulk up and Sunny Day, he should have a heck of a SolarBeam, right?
Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm just an all-out attack type person who isn't any good with moveset. XD

Bulk Up is illegal for Sceptile, and it boosts attack not special attack. Overgrow activates only when you're almost dead, and miracle seed's power boost is so little that it won't make any difference at all for Sceptile.

Check the Pokemon Battledex for Sceptile's entry, and how to use it.

Bulk Up is definately a wasted move here, since all of Treecko's power is based on Special Attack. Grass moves are based on Special Attack, and Bulk Up only increases his Attack and Defence, something which is very useless for him.

Making him a Sunnybeamer (Sunny Day + Solarbeam combo) is a very bad move, because its just asking for a fire type to toast him to death. Sceptile is fast, but there are things out there which are faster, and if he doesn't take them down he's dead himself.

EV training is also worth the effort, since it makes the difference between OHKO and 99% damage sometimes, and that little sliver of life can be just enough for your opponent to survive and kill you instead.

    Okay, so..

    Treeky/Sceptile @ Leftovers
    Lv. 84
    Lonely nature
    Ability: Overgrow
    Attacks:
    Leech Seed
    Substitute
    Leaf Blade
    False Swipe

And then I EV train it in Speed and Sp. Atk?

Actually, since you're at such a high level, all your EVs are probably spent already. Go and breed a new Sceptile, do the EV training first (Speed and Special Attack), then level him up.

This set works for me. I maxed out Speed and Sp.Atk. I also use Dragon Claw over Crunch, 2hkoed R-Dancing Kindgra o.O!

    Sceptile @ Lefovers
    Modest
    Leech Seed
    HP Fire/Protect
    Dragon Claw/Crunch
    Leaf Blade

    Twiggy(lame name.. i know) @ --nothing
    Rash
    Leaf Blade
    False Swipe
    Dig
    Dragon Claw

Dragon Claw! More than half on basic Kingdra, Kingdra goes into Rain Dance. Ice Beam, Sceptile isn't dead, almost. Dragon Claw, KO.

    Sceptile@leftovers/lum berry
    - Leaf Blade
    - Dragon Claw
    - Crunch/HP Water
    - Substitute/Leech Seed

    oh... thought that rain dance was already in effect o.o;

I'd go HP ice over Dragon Claw. @_@ Dragon Claw has just about one use and Kingdra's it. HP ice will do much better on Salamence and Flygon, etc. Any water type more or less pwns Kingdra anyways, even if it goes HP elec.

Blah, if a Modest Houndoom's HP Ice can't KO it (Salamence), when why bother =.=;;. It will D-Dance after into Aerial Ace and OHKO Sceptile.

Of course, you'll have to wait for the game to come out for that. But they finally made Sceptile into the ultimate grass type special sweeper.
