I've been wondering whether Samurott is a physical attacker or special attacker. I'm using a physical attacker Samurott set right now (Swords Dance, Waterfall, Dragon Tail, Megahorn) and it's turning out to be a real powerhouse, especially after a Swords Dance boost, but my brother used a Special Samurott set (Surf, Ice Beam, Grass Knot, Hyper Beam) Which is better on Samurott?

I don;t know if this should be here or over the competitive battling forum, since I'mm mainly talking about in game. Thanks.

Well, I use a Samurott with diverse moves.

Because the one I have has a Serious nature, he doesn't particularly excel at either stat. He currently knows Ice Beam, Waterfall, Surf and X-Scissor (that's 2 Special attacks and 2 Physical attacks).

It just depends on your Samurott's nature.

If it has one of the following natures, it will lean toward Physical Attacker: Lonely, Adamant, Naughty, Brave, Impish, Careful or Jolly.

If it has one of the following natures, it will lean toward Special Attacker: Bold, Modest, Mild, Rash, Quiet, Calm or Timid.

If it has one of the following natures, it will be even: Lax, Relaxed, Gentle, Sassy, Hasty, Naive, Hardy, Bashful, Docile, Serious or Quirky.

I'm actually really hard-pressed to find a use for a Samurott, as I feel that its rather lackluster speed holds it back considerably.

Whichever path that's chosen, do keep in mind that, even if your Samurott has a speed+ nature, most electric-types will have a field day with it.

As previously mentioned, this is the wrong section.

However I'm going to give my two-cents.

Although Samurott has some nifty special moves (Surf, Ice Beam), it has better physical moves to exploit (Revenge, Megahorn, Waterfall, etc) and using these moves is much more viable in both competitive play and in-game play.

Yup, this question would've belonged in CBC's help thread here :) For any other questions, Black and White has a Quick Questions thread!
