    RPG Maker XP, cracked/translated (Finally).

    Well, mostly at least. RMXP is about 144MB to download (Took me 7hrs30mins on my 5kbps connection), and it has been cracked... In French that is. Unfortunately, the English cracker, RPG Advocate is obeying a 3 month rule or so, which some of you guys might know about (Meaning he'll wait 3 months, and only release the patch if Enterbrain havent announced an English version).
    Anyways, although the crack translates it to French, you can still understand whats what, and it's certainly better than nothing (Since without the crack, the Serial code system on RPG Maker XP prevents you from using it, and there is no way to create a keygen).

    Eh, i'll put up links later, if it's not against the rules to do so. :P

    Oh, good. lol Im one of the worst at French, unfortunately, but its easy to understand whats what, like i already said.

    You need WinRAR for the actual program, and it'll take up to 7 hours. A few friends of mine downloaded it in about 20 minutes though (They have broadband, luckily). Also remember, that without replacing the real .exe with the cracked one, you wont be able to use RMXP (Due to the serial needed, and a keygen cannot be created, nor can one serial be used continuously). Well, download and enjoy. I have to go figure out Ruby...

    Pretty cool, I'll try to download it even though I know it'll take more than 7 hours to download on my 4.17kbps connection.

    As for the french part, I think I'll try Babelfish for translations =P
     
    No need to worry about the French now. This morning a guy called DynaEmu posted his own 100% English crack, so if you see him, give credit for the crack below. Everything except the Help File is translated.

    Those graphics are much better then the old rm2k(3) ones :)

    Well it's worth it all right. It has higher resolution, a turn-based battle system (Instead of Active Time BS), 3 Layered maps, PNG Images (Instead of just 256 Color PNGs), better RTP files, etc. Im sure you all knew about that stuff anyways...

    EDIT: Your welcome Mystic, but you should really thank EventHorizon (Uploaded the full version of RMXP), and DynaEmu (Fully English crack).
     
    I don't get it.. do I need a copy of RM XP in the first place to use this?

    Toothache, the RMXP link i gave out (144MB) is the full copy. The newer crack i gave out about an hour ago is fully English, and also erases the registration system of the program. Just download RMXP and the English crack, and thats it.

    . . . If this is good then I may consider converting my game from RM2K3 to RMXP. Do you know if the maps can be transfered or would they need to be remade?
     
    Hmmm... I'm not very happy.

    1) My old projects can't load into it
    2) I don't have any in-game font
    3) I just got a critical error
    4) The RGSS scripting is half japanese
    5) I feel like more has been lost than has been gained

    The only good think so far are the awesome graphics and kick *beep* battle animations.
     
    The chipsets aren't transparent for me :confused:
    EDIT: Nevermind figured out why.
    EDIT2: Is it just me or does the RTP chipsets look ALOT like the ones that were made by Mac and Blue?
    EDIT3: Where's the font?! I have no font :\ Guess i'll have to figure that one out then.
