    Hey there everyone. Just got me a handful of RoD packs, so I figured I'd let you in on my luck.

    Covering Fire
    Trap, Rare
    If you're opponent's monster attacks a monster on your side of the field, you can activate this card during teh damage step. Increase the ATK of your attacked monster by the ATK of 1 other face up monster on your side of the field during the damage step.

    Fusilier Dragon, Dual-Mode Beast 1st ed.
    rare, monster
    7 stars, dark, machine
    2800 ATK, 2000 DEF
    This card can be Normal Summoned or Set without Tribute. In that case, the original ATK/DEF of this card becomes halved.

    Serial Spell
    Ultimate Rare, Quick Play Spell
    You can only activate this card when you activate one of your normal spell cards. Discard all cards in your hand to the graveyard. The effect of this card becomes the same as the normal spell card.

    Rare Metalmorph 1st ed.
    Ultimate Rare, Continuous Trap
    Increase the ATK of 1 Machine-type monster on the field by 500 points. ONly once, negate the effect of a spell card that designates the monster. When teh selected monster is removed from the field, destroy this card.

    Silen Swordsman Lv. 3
    Ultra Rare, Monster, light, warrior
    ATK 1000, DEF 1000
    Negate teh effects of your opponent's spell cards that designate this card. During your standby phase, send this card face-up to the graveyard to special summon 1 "Silent Swordsman Lv. 5" from your hand or deck. ( you cannot activate this effect in the same turn this card is normal summoned, special summoned, or flipped face-up)

    I also got a Diffusion Wave motion, a limited edition card that came with my special box set.
     
    Yeah, I know. Two ultimate rares in a row! Who'd a thunk it? :D I was a little dissapointed though, as I was hoping for something with some real power. My sister got a fusion, called "Pitch dark blade dragon" I think that is a fusion of dark blade and pitch black dragon. it has 2200 ATK, and whenever it does LP you can remove up to three of your opponent's monsters from play.

    I noticed looking through the cards I got that they seem to be aiming against Bottomless and Trap hole. Over half of the level 4 or lower monsters had an effect saying that traps cannot be activated when they are successfully summoned.

    I've got the first three of that list ^_^ I only kept one in my deck and put one of the others into a machine deck I'm working on. Rise of Destiny seems to be good for making a Winged-Beast type deck.

    Out of all those cards, hang onto Serial Spell. Orochi's been telling me about the massive possibilites of that card.

    For example, say you had three cards in your hand - Serial Spell, Pot of Greed, and some other card (we'll say DMoC because I HAAAAAATE IT SO MUCH AHJ$TREHgfdio45egd80945efrd.... ahem.)

    Play POG. NOW play Serial Spell. Discard that steeenking DMoC :) (a.k.a. your hand) Serial Spell's effect activates, and you just drew 4 cards in exchange for one! W00T

    Or think about 2 Change of Hearts, or two Nobleman of Crossouts, OR two Monster Reborns >_< or two of ANY Normal Magic Card. Broken, ain't it?

    Yeah the double wammy of Monster Reborn had crossed my mind ^_^ Or even better .... Graceful Charity !!
     
    although both of thsoe are banned cards and aren't permitted in tourney play. And it's a little late to warn me of that. I traded it away for a Drop Off. I was working on a control deck, and I needed one, so I traded my serial spell for it.

    a trap card i've gotten though that I really like:

    Divine Wrath
    1st edition, counter trap
    Discard a card from your hand to negate teh activation and effect of an effect monster and destroy it.
