I looked at the Yugioh topic by the similar name and I thought" Why not have one of these for each major card game in teh Other Cards forum? That way we wouldn't ahve all these little topics for all these little decks." SO here is the one for DM. I'm going to follow this one up with one for Magic, although I don't play it. Hopefully these two topics will be as successful as the Yugioh one.
Here is my deck for a rating.
Deck Name: Dark Oblivion
Deck Type: Control/ Destruction
Deck Goal: Power up and summon Jack Viper then start sweeping away.
Dark Creatures
Gray Balloon, Shadow of Greed x4
Writhing Shadow Belbetphlo x4
Shadow Moon, Cursed Shade x2
Jack Viper, Shadow of Doom x2
Gregorian Worm x2
Bloody Squito x4
Writhing Bone Goul x3
Horrid Worm x3
Marrow Ooze, the Twister x2
Photocide, Lord of the Wastes x1
Zagaan, Knight of Darkness x1
Deathliger, Lion of Chaos x1
Dark Spells
Terror Pit x4
Critical Blade x4
Death smoke x3
Darkness is my favorite Civ, in which Mullet can testify. This deck runs very well and made first in my last tournament. Generally I use my Jack Vipers to get back anything I may lose. I also pump up my creatures using Shadow Moon and hit the opponent hard with Photocide, Zagaan, or Deathliger. I now see I'm a little too dependent on Jack Viper, but when you have a deck made of only one civ and you got a card for that civ that returns any monster on your side of the field to teh hand when it dies if it's of that civ, you tend to exploit it. ;)
