Rate my Swalot Moveset!

    This is it:

    Swalot (Lottoswalo)

    Sludge
    Sludge Bomb
    Rock Smash
    Secret Power

    Please Rate!
     
    Couple of common mistakes here. Sludge and Sludge Bomb? Just stick with the more powerful Sludge Bomb, we can do something better with that slot for Sludge. Rock Smash is high useless against anything except in-game, and Secret Power, while having it's various and useful side-effects, isn't really damaging enough.

    Keep Sludge Bomb, ditch the rest. I don't have a comprehensive list of what Swalot can learn right now, but it should be some better moves than those.

    I'm pretty sure Swalot is just a really terrible Muk in terms of comparative stats. I'd look up Muk since I have Swalot open right now, but I just came out of my last exam and I'm feeling extremely lethargic. Swalot has the following stat breakdown:
    100/73/83/73/83/55
    Everything except for hp is at or below average.
    BTW, Swalot learns Toxic.
    Because Swalots attack related stats are only bested in being terrible by its Speed, let's just make this thing a wall and call it a day:
    Swalot@Leftovers
    Nature: As long as it isn't attack or speed related, who cares?
    Toxic (FYI, Swalot learns toxic)
    Explosion
    Substitute
    Amnesia/Rest/Sludge Bomb/Toxic/Metronome/Toxic

    Your move set needs improvement because it has two Poison attacks that do the same thing, only one does it better than the other. In addition, it uses Rock Smash which is only useful to open Venderturf~ Cave and get from Mauville to the Desert. And, I guess, Victory Road. That and Secret Power is a random attack w/ low damage.
    If you must try and sweep with him, here's what I recommend:
    Sludge Bomb
    Shadow Ball
    Counter
    Explosion
     
    Here's mine:
    Swalot@Quick Claw
    Sludge Bomb
    Toxic
    Shadow Ball
    Secret Power

    Secret Power can paralyze in Colosseum. That's why I use it on Espy. Sludge can be replaced by Toxic. Shadow Ball can clear out a Gengar that otherwise would do a lot of damage(unless Gengar has Psychic). Sludge Bomb is a powerful attack that can clear opponents such as my Espy with low DEF.
