i'm using my rampardos as a physical sweeper and i was wondering if this is a good moveset....(oh, and i also need to know what would be a good item....)

    item:??????
    ability:Moldbreaker
    Nature:Adamant
    Head Smash
    Zen Headbutt
    Giga Impact
    Earthquake

i'm not sure if i should replace giga impact for something else.....thx for the help.

    Rampardos@MuscleBand
    Trait: Mold Breaker
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 252 ATK/ 252 SPEED/4 HP

    Head Smash
    Zen Headbutt
    Hammer Arm/Giga Impact
    EQ

Rampardos sucks as a sweeper unless it is sent out from Agil-Passing. Jask-Passing raises speed and attack, I suggest him.

    item:?????? = Focus Sash
    ability:Moldbreaker
    Nature:Adamant
    Head Smash
    Zen Headbutt
    Giga Impact = Rock Polish
    Earthquake

Giga Impact is horrible on Rampardos, it leaves it open next turn. Rock Polish/Focus Sash is good on slow sweepers like Rampardos

and might not want Head Smash, take it out for something like Stone Edge, or any other Rock type attack, it leaves a serious recoil damage

Replace Giga Impact for Ice Beam or thunderboltor maybe even surf?

...... what im about to say is kinda cruel XD

Rampardos is awful on Sp. Attack dude, you have to look on the more physical side... doesnt even learn ice beam lol

Oh, you peoples like to overcomplicate matters...

    Rampardos @ Choice Scarf
    Trait: Mold Breaker
    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Head Smash
    Pursuit

Believe it or not, Rampardos needs maximal speed, scarf, and Jolly to outspeed all the stuff threatening it. Anyways, straight out sweeping is what this thing does best; it just doesn't have the defenses for a setup. Head Smash over Zen Headbutt since the few psychic weaks around can be KOed as quickly between Stone Edge and EQ anyways, but Head Smash gives it a final power boost for tougher targets like Skarmory. The recoil is a major pain, though, so use that move conservatively. :3

Yes it can. Ever heard of a TM?

Doesn't really change the fact that Rampardos can't do anything useful with that move. The only things it has going for its statline are a high Atk and a decent HP so special moves are waste. :\

Even if it can, no idiot will make Rampardos learn Ice Beam

EDIT: You might want Rampardos to learn Endeavor after making it hold Focus Sash

Never Give Rampardos Rock Polish, always Baton Pass, it won't last long enough to take the Rock Polish hit

.... Rampardos can hold a Focus Sash Mr. Smart -.-

(why the heck would you, in the whole world, give Rampardos Baton Pass?!)

    that's what i've been thinking....

It's sort of a waste to turn Rampardos into a one-shot pokémon like that, though (In my unprofessional opinion). If you want endeavorsash stuff then go with a level one Phanphy with Ice Shard and Endeavor as a moveset; it always deals fatal damage with Endeavor (and always drops to one HP from the first damaging attack) and can also finish the opponent off with a first-strike move. Plus, it's a style thing. xD Either case, you pretty much need Hippowdon or Tyranitar to provide a Sandstorm for that finishing damage, otherwise Endeavor won't pay itself back. I still maintain that Rampardos is better as a regular sweep, though. =O
