I'm just about to get into collecting a current set (and maybe building a deck once leagues and stuff are open again) and I'd like to start with getting a Rebel Clash ETB, but I want to make sure I'm not completely wasting my money, so you think they've been worth it? I'm aware that buying packs is the most expensive way to collect, but it seems like the most fun way to start as long as the pulls aren't completely trash from these.

I'm also slightly worried about getting resealed packs. I was going to order from Amazon but I see a lot of reviews saying that their packs felt loose and they didn't pull anything of value from the boxes, and they suspected they might have been resealed, are there any tips on avoiding falling for this? I'm currently planning on buying from Chaos Cards, Total Cards or Magic Madhouse (all UK based I think) as they are a good £10 cheaper than the physical stores around me and I can't turn that down, but it has me worried that they're cheaper because they could have been resealed, could this be the case?

ETBs normally have packs fairly loose.

ETBs also have functionally random odds. Sometimes you get nothing of value. Sometimes you get subpar chase cards, and sometimes you hit the jackpot. They're packed with same packs you might find individually for sale in a cardboard blister in somewhere like Asda or inside the multipack blisters. Odds of pulls in those are functionally random.

Fair enough, I guess I sort of knew that would be the case. I would like some sleeves for playing in and the other bits like dice will be useful. Have you had experience with any the shops mentioned? I think I'll use Total Cards.

I have no personal experience with them. I'm American, so it's cheaper to just buy cards from the USA.
