Professor Kukui

What are your opinions on Mr Kukui? Do you feel he's going to revolutionize how we see Pokemon Professors -- or do you simply feel he's going to carry on the tradition previous Pokemon Professors did?

I like him, he has a cool design and seems pretty laid back. I've got a feeling that he's hiding something, though.

From datamining we can get Kukui battle animation (they found it because Kukui in-battle sprite was used for catching tutorial), so it can be safe to assume that we get the chance to battle Kukui, unless GameFreak decides to scratch that idea off and leave it just there (AZ's Floette hasn't be answered yet for example)

So he's going behind Guzma by going behind Guzma ? But all jokes aside, it is rather suspicious that Prof Kukui's house/lab is pretty far from the starting point and pretty isolated? Or have I forgotten something from Gen 4/5 (cause I think I remember Gen 1,2,3 & 6's)

If we do get the chance to battle Kukui, in my opinion it'd be at the end of the game. Similar to battling Steven in Emerald.

I'd quite enjoy various encounters with the Professor. That'd liven things up a bit and could be a pace changer.
