Hey, if this is in the wrong forum or has the wrong prefix please let me know.

I've noticed that various trainer editing tools have bugs which make your game bleeped.

I'll be providing information regarding the 3 tools which I know that are used the most, HTE, G3T & PGE.
In the end of the bug report, I'll be explaining how you should be the different tools to edit trainers without bugs.

    Hopeless Trainer Editor (HTE)

In HTE, when you're repointing for any reason, (different # of Pokemon to a trainer, custom moves, etc) it might do it incorrectly. This will result in giving the trainer the wrong Pokemon, then will block any trainer editor from editing the bugged trainer's Pokemon.

    Pokemon Game Editor (PGE)

In PGE, changing a trainer's Pokemon at one location will also change a Pokemon in a different location.
I'll explain this one less because I have a gif demonstrating the problem.

    Demonstration:
    Spoiler:

    Gen 3 Tools (G3T)

In G3T, everything seems to work fine, however, it will not show all of the trainers in the game.

    Conclusion:

Okay, so let's say you only want to change the species and levels of a trainer.
In that case, you should use HTE.

If you want to repoint, for example, if you want to change the # of Pokemon of a trainer, you should use G3T.

If you want to repoint, for example, if you want to change the # of Pokemon of a trainer, but G3T doesn't have the trainer you're looking to search, you should use HTE to see how many free bytes you need, then repoint the trainer using PGE (find the free space using FSF), then edit the trainer in HTE.

For any further questions if, and if I missed anything, please let me know via PM's here or in Discord, also you can comment down here, I'll be checking this thread periodically.
