[Scripting Question] Problems when I want to catch Pokemon in double battles.

    I am trying to make a game like Colosseum / XD, but I have problems when I try to capture. My version is 16.2 because this version is in my language(Spanish).

    In double battles, essentials works like 5 gen, defeating one pokémon first and then catching the other pokémon. I can't select the pokmeon that I want to capture, the Pokemon you aim at is fixed. You always throw a PokeBall at the Pokemon diagonal to yours. You throw a pokeball with your left Pokémon and it automatically targets the opponent's Pokémon on your right. Also, you can only throw a ball with your first Pokemon, with your left Pokémon. You select to throw a pokeball, you throw it, and then place the order for your second pokemon, the right pokemon. If you try to throw with your second Pokemon, it says that it is impossible to aim, and spend a pokeball. And if with the second pokemon you carry out another order, attack or use an item, this one does nothing and your opponent attacks. If you throw a pokeball it consumes the turn of your two pokemon, but you can still make orders with my second pokemon, that are useless.

    What I want is:
    1. I can throw a pokeball with any of my pokemon, the right or the left.
    2. Select which pokemon I want.
    3. If possible, throw a pokeball and be able to attack or use an item with my other pokémon.

    Everything like in Colosseum / XD.
    Problems occur the same in both doubles wild battles and doubles battles with shadow pokémon.

    I have been thinking that if it is very difficult to do all this, because I have seen questions similar to mine but without a clear answer, I will do double battles but without snagball. And the capture of the shadow pokemon will be with a special trainer in a single battle, or with encounters similar to the legendary pokemon.

    But I don't know how to make encounters with shadow wild pokmeon. Any ideas? And so that these shadow wild pokemon also have the typical special attack that they have when they are purified?

    Hi there! I'm one of the people that has been trying to get this issue solved. I gave up on it for a bit since my coding skills aren't great, but I'm trying to solve it again. I'm making a game too where the mechanics are like Colosseum/XD for Shadow Pokemon in double battles. It's definitely a tricky problem, and may even require a whole new script to be created. I'll let you know if I make any progress. Let me know if you get any ideas or need help. In case there's any specific issue to your version of Pokemon Essentials, I happen to know Spanish. ;)
