2nd Gen Problem with Pokemon Crystal's clock

    I restarted my Pokemon Crystal version yesterday. Before I restarted it, I noticed that the clock wasn't corresponding with the time in the real world.

    For example: Pokemon Crystal says that it's Sunday, 7:34 AM DST, while it is actually 10:00 PM DST in the real world. The day is right, it's just that the times aren't matching up.

    If I remember correctly, it's the time supposed to change everytime you turn the game on? Either there's something wrong with the game, or I'm just losing it.
     
    There are two possibilities. The first is that you entered the time initially wrong. The second and worse scenario is that the internal battery is dieing.
     
    I know I entered the time right...so it must be the battery. Thank you.

    ...Now I have two games to fix.....oh, well....hopefully the copies of Gold and Yellow my mom got for me on eBay will work properly.
