Possible Shiny Hunting Bug

Is it possible that my game is simply bugged and not have shiny Bergmite/Avalugg?

I've been hunting this thing for 4 days now, got the Shiny Charm, using Lv. 3 Sandwiches for both Ice and Shiny Power, knocking out 60 mons to increase the odds, tried 4 different locations and nothing. Every other shiny I've caught so far took me up to 3h max, but this is just ridiculous. The slight color difference is not the issue, I've hunted shiny Tynamo no problem and that thing is almost identical to a normal one.

It's not even a matter of patience, I've been working on a living Shiny Dex for years now and started shiny hunting back in Emerald, and there's been several pains in the butt throughout all generations, but this one will slowly take the cake if it continues like this.

Has anyone had a similar experience wiht Bergmite or any other Pokemon?

Have you had any luck at all since this post? Using just the masuda method, I've had to hatch sometimes 1200+ eggs before getting the shiny I wanted, while some other times it took less than 100. That's the thing with probability, it's like... You could technically flip a coin 100 times and get all tails, though it's not likely. I would think it's the same kind of deal with shiny hunting, sometimes it just won't land on it, but it will eventually. Keep trying, I guess?

Hi! Been on vacation, disconnected from online. However, I did some shiny hunting, still no Bergmite or Avalugg. Caught a few shinies: Croagunk, Altaria, Goomy, Spoink, Hypno, Bramblin, Orthworm and Flamigo. I genuinely believe my game is bugged and the shiny simply doesn't exist in my game at this point. With the amount of bugs these games had/have, I wouldn't be surprised, to be completely honest. Yeah, gonna keep trying, but this is super weird, never had anything like this happen in almost 20 years of shiny hunting. Thank you for replying and sharing your thoughts on it!

Confirms that wild shiny Avalugg do exist. Caught one today. Saw an outbreak in the far north (in the water east of the North Province (Area Three) Lighthouse). Remembered this post. Only planned to knock out enough for the maximum odds, then maybe reset once or twice. Found it just after the first shiny odds increase. Had the Shiny Charm, but no sandwich active either.
