Heeey! I'm Chemist Wooper working in Wooper Labs!\

Well something is mysterious about the pokemon world.

    Somethings we know.
    Somethings we don't.

I go against this and deliver theories.

Well, one theory I have is about all regions. Specifically Ash Ketchum. Ash is in a neverending dream.
    How this came to be?
Remeber that episode in the first season? Where a bird came? That "Fearow" is actually Ho-Oh in a shroud of light.
Lets take a look at the dex entry of Ho-Oh:
Ho-Oh's feathers glow in seven colors depending on the angle at which they are struck by light. These feathers are said to bring happiness to the bearers. This Pokémon is said to live at the foot of a rainbow.
So Ash get infinite happinesss, yay, right?

    WRONG.

Ash has one thing happening over and over again.
He keeps on failing the league over and over in every region, even in Kalos, a region where he actually good odds with his Ash-Grennja.

And so, he keeps on crying like a baby when he loses but shouldn't he get happy?
This along with Ho-Oh's apperance shows that Ash is going into a loop of time but techniclly just repeating stuff.

Well, all I have and now I sign off!

Hi there Chemist Wooper, welcome to PC. :)

I moved your thread out of The Lab, since well, it doesn't necessarily pertain to science, but rather more to the Pokémon anime, since you mentioned Ash Ketchum.

If he really was in an infinite coma or dream, I think rather than a loop of time it could be that his league losing is him having a loss of confidence. He's normally quite confident and believes in himself in Pokemon but the losses could represent times of self-doubt. It's like when someone really believes they can do something and then all of a sudden when the time comes they no longer feel they can so they don't.

@Tsutarja Okay,Thanks for lettng me know.

@jjc927 Well but the problem with that is he would actually be in the same region as he stated, Kanto. The dream means he could be in other regons just dreaming ahead.

I dunno. Ash didn't really cry like a baby when he was defeated in the Kalos league, he just seemed disappointed, which is obvious. Also, does it specify when in someone's life they'd get happiness due to Ho-Oh? I feel like Ash is really young and still has a lot to learn. Winning the league so early might make his happiness a bit... premature.

I say Ash, doesn't win it means he gets better by training which makes him happy :/

That's not how reliving events works...

If Ash were to relive it, he'd be stuck in Kanto doing the same thing each day. It wouldn't be changeable as that's how loops would work.
