    Hello guys! Just today that I just saw some corocoro leaks about Pokemon Sun and Moon. It's about starters evolutions. What you guys think this is real or fake. To be honest, I think this is fake.

     
    Looks fake because otherwise Popplio looks like a form of Oshawatt's line and Litten's Second Evolution's eyes don't look Pokémon designed those eyes, and their design styles are all different as if these are all different fan arts
     
    I've seen that artwork floating around a lot lately, but looking at how much the Popplio evolution looks too much like Dewott I am going to assume the art is fake.
     
    I am also going to guess they are fake. We didn't learn about the Starter 2nd forms until about August or so in XY.

    They aren't going to reveal the starter evos that quickly. Not before they reveal at least 1 batch of pokemon. And they RARELY reveal them in evolution order. Talonflame was revealed before Flechinder and made everyone think Fletchling only had 1 evolution. They also revealed Gogoat and Noivern before the revealed Noibat and Skiddo. It is the same with countless other pokemon.

    The colors also look extremely dull and papery compared to other corocoro scans.

    It was in September 2013 the Kalos starters' middle stages were revealed. But you are right about the fact we had other new Pokemon revealed before these middle stages for the starters and it wouldn't be surprising if we get other new Pokemon revealed first.
     
    Oh poo, there's not a doubt these are fake and they don't look up to par with Ken Sugimori's art.

    My thoughts on this:

    The Rowlet evo becoming an archer is definitely an odd concept but one that could be fun, the main issue will come down to if the massive Rowlet fanbase finds it ugly or not. It's not a bad design and all, but those sunglasses it seems to be wearing do look out of place. Plus, the fact Rowlet shoots leaves out of its wings that eventually become arrows looks like something that makes sense and transitions well.

    The Litten evo is biped, which would continue the disturbing trend of Fire starters always going bipedal when they evolve but also has that tiger look that's all been theorized, also that muscular body could suggest Fire/Fighting, so that means could Litten decline to Tepig levels of unpopularity? It is definitely a concerning time for Litten fans with this, especially if they hate Fire/Fighting starters becoming a thing again.

    The Popplio evo is... a mermaid? That is not what I'd expect a little sea lion to evolve into, but then again I know how much Dewgong's tail reminds me of a mermaid and the speculated Water/Fairy evo for Popplio (Water/Psychic could also fit). If this is the case, Popplio seems like the "feminine" starter that everyone will want to soft-reset for a female, a la fellow feminine starters Fennekin and Chikorita.

    I did notice Japanese text which I remember we had Japanese text when concept art of previous starters were shown (I know we had art of the Unova starters that was concept art with Japanese text written in parts, as description) so it does look suspicious. There is also the presence of a red "Confidential" label which was also present on a concept art piece of Noivern.

    Edit: The supposed Katakana text of these final evos appear to be called "Fukurou" (Rowlet evo), "Tora" (Litten evo) and "Ashike" (Popplio evo)

    The words Fukurou, Tora, and Ashika, translate into Owl, Tiger, and Sea Lion respectively. I think that those are fake, but they look like very good fakes, especially the Rowlet evolution

    I saw those and to me they just don't look convincing enough. The more fakes that are circulated makes it harder to believe others that crop up. The final evolutions are usually revealed right before the release date, so anything that gets leaked now just doesn't seem believable.

    I think they seem to be placeholder names, but you have to admit for a supposed fake leak it is well-designed. It has that very Game Freak "unexpected" feel to it and wouldn't mind getting something similar as the real deal.

    Like you said, I'm probably expecting the final evos around the release date and the middle evos revealed a month or two beforehand. Maybe once we can see the middle evos I could try and see if they connect to these leaks. Most middle evo starters tend to incorporate both the base and final stages so that could give us a sign on what to expect.

    Ken isn't the main artist anymore. Two other people took over. I saw it brought up after the initial starter reveal, but don't have the source atm. And these are 100% fake. Poplio's is basically dewott with a cape, it even has the shell! Litten's literally matches espeon's pose and outline when it is drawn in the sitting pose. Also the layout is nothing like Coro Coro's. And we won't see starter evos till at least September.

    I may be in the minority, but I like all 3 of the starters. If these are real concepts I can see how it is a continuation of including a greater range of gender options. In gen II we finally had the choice to select a girl for the main protagonist. In addition, we saw Meganium introduced as the "feminine" choice of starters. The idea behind this move I presume was to be more inclusive of feminine consumers. I personally would rather have all androgynous starters or one of each (masculine/feminine/androgynous). I think the last gen has us moving away from the either masculine or androgynous bias with the inclusion of the Fennekin line. I actually love how this concept art chose to mirror gen 6 with respect to the inclusion of a masculine/feminine/androgynous starter designs. Also, I would actually like to see some starters who are 7: 1 female-to-male rather than 1 : 7 female-to-male because it is an odd bias.

    Rowlett's Evo: I love how the coloring of the eyes plus the leafy hood creates the appearance of shades; I do not believe it is actually wearing goggles or shades. The bow and arrow wing design and the bit of orange in the palette is also appealing. I love this concept much more than the possible circus "conductor" motif that has been circulating around as a rowlett evolution rumor. All-in-all this design is incredible and stands apart from the rest of the grass starters. 9.99/10

    Litten's Evo: Yeah, it is a bulky bipedal fighting type, not my favorite, but I actually find the design appealing versus the other fighting/fire types...aside from Blazekin. My issue for emboar for instance was not the fact that it was bipedal and bulky, but rather it had an ugly and messy design rather than a badass one. Will I pick Litten first or second if this is the evo..."nope", but I think this option will satisfy anyone who is looking for a masculine pokemon with a nice design. 7.5/10

    Popplio's Evo: So, my current favorite pokemon is Milotic because of its radical transformation and its beautiful design. In the concept art, it appears as if Popplio transformed from a cute, silly, and awkward clown to a beautiful, poised, and regal performer. I have to say if this concept art is real I think it might replace Milotic as my favorite pokemon. So I am trying NOT to get my hopes up! 10/10

    Overall: 9.5 I am more inclined to think that these are not real-- odds are that any graphical leak is probably fake.

    Rowlet Evo: I've seen a few fake leaks that try to predict Rowlet's final evo as being assassin-themed, which archers are grouped with. I think now's the time to make a DC/Pokémon crossover, with this evo being paired with Green Arrow.

    Litten Evo: I know I was told not to sound arrogant about being right on something, but I was right (hopefully...). Everything about this evolution's design makes me think of Sagat, which is perfect for me with my Pokémon X Street Fighter idea.

    Popplio Evo: I was expecting an acrobatic sea lion to be the theme for Popplio due to its clownish appearance, but as a mermaid? If this is real, then Popplio's definitely gonna be this gen's Gardevoir.

    Although they look very real, I'm pretty sure they're fake. You have lots of such fakes floating around whenever any Gen's Starters are revealed.
