How do you pronounce the names of certain pokemon?

Like for me, I used to pronounce Groudon "groo-don", and Linoone "Lin-On".

Because we all came from various countries this will become interesting. These are the way I pronounce some Pokemon name:

    Pidgeot "Pi-jiot"
    Clefairy "Kle-fe-ri"
    Hypno "Hi-peno"

And when I small I used to pronounce Jynx "Jin-ex", because when I pronounce it I separating the Jyn and x.

I thought that was how you pronounced Groudon.
I pronounce Audino "Awe-deeno". I have since found out that its name was meant to be a pun on "I dunno".

What's the official pronunciation for Suicune? I always said "Swee-koon", but my friends range from that to "soo-ih-koon-ay" to "soo-ih-soon-ay". :c

I say Groo-don too, but I think the official way -which I hate- is Graw-don. I pronounce Sneasel as Sneessel but in the anime they say Sneezel (euw).

I used to pronounce xatu as 'ex-aytu' but then I thought it sounded weird so I prounced it as 'zatu'.

Xatu as Ex-atu when I was young, Loo-jee-ah instead of Loo-gee-uh.

    I say so many wrong...

Kyogre is Ky-rogue. Like Tyrogue I guess?

    Groundon is ground...-on.

I used to say Meganium as Mag-ne-um (or maybe that was Pokemon Stadium) if that counts.

Raikou has been pronounced differently in the anime around 10 different ways which is a bit confusing.

    I just say, Rhy-koo.

For the record, Raikou is pronounced like in Japanese. I'm surprised the movie 13 dub got it right after all the screw-ups back when 4kids was doing the dub. For Zweilous and Hydreigon, the "ei" is pronounced like in German due to the theme naming. Finally, Regice is "Reg-ice", not "Re-gi-ice" unless you're Japanese.

I used to call Gyarados gai-ara-dos. XD
I didn't know the Y was silent until I watched the Anime.

I pronounce them usually how they see to me, which is normally right. I used to watch the anime as a kid a lot, so most of the Gen I-III Pokemon names I know the right versions of, but for Gen IV-V I just call it like it seems XD. Groudon I used to think Groo-de-on, Kyogre was Ke-yo-ge-re XD.

    Linoone
    Lie-noon

    Groudon
    Grr-ow-down

    Charizard
    Char-eh-zard

I used to pronounce a lot wrong :x
