4th Gen Pokemon Pearl vs Diamond

Ok so I have played platinum through and through, but I still feel like I'm missing out by not playing the original games.

I need a new game for trades as I'm going to stop using heart gold for battles and wait for an english release, so I've decided to just go with either diamond or pearl and kill two birds with one stone. This is just a general poll + any opinions, I'm not asking what game is better, just what game y'all would like me to use (if you even care). Basically a community coin flip (except it's not a 50/50 chance)

It's really simple as a decision. If you like the version exclusives in Diamond more, choose Diamond. Same for Pearl. They're basically the same.

I skipped both as well and got Platinum but I won't pick them up because I've been told Platinum is just the upgraded version anyway. I mean you got the whole Distortion World + everything else =p

I have all three of the games and in my opinion out of Diamond and Pearl,I like Diamond and it's Version Exclusives better than Pearl's,but this is just my opinion.

It doesn't matter one bit even though Scyther and Larvitar makes Diamond my favored version.

Well it all depends on which pokemon you want. Diamond and Pearl have pokemon in them that are exclusive to their version.

The only reason you need them is if you want Skuntank/Honchkrow(Diamond), or Purugly/Misdreavus(Pearl)
