Pokemon Nightshade (Working Title)
Hack of: Pokemon Blue

Welcome to the region of Sorrel, in this new region is a small town called Dandel Village, and in this village lives a young girl named Kidd. Kidd had dreamed of being a Pokemon Researcher since she was a young girl, and one day is asked by Professor Burdock if she can work on a project for him. Kidd agrees without hesitation and soons learns that she'll be working along side Celia, her friend and rival from Sumac City. The girls are each given a Pokedex, a new version of the one created by Professor Oak of Kanto, and asked to collect research data on the various Pokemon of the Sorrel region. Along with this, Professor Burdock mentions that if Kidd were to become a well known and repected Pokemon trainer that she would have a much easier time of becoming a Pokemon Researcher. Upon leaving her hometown, she swore she would not only compile data on every Pokemon in Sorrel, but that she would also become the Champion of the Sorrel Pokemon League.

Planned Features

- Redone Base Stats, Move Pools, and Typing for existing Pokemon
- New Maps
- New Character Sprites (This will be a little farther off, as I have no spriting experience currently)
- Dark and Steel Types added
- Added Attacks, both New and from Future Pokemon Games
- Added Pokemon from later Generations

Note: If hacking Blue becomes too much of a burden, I may move this up to either Gold or Silver, at the current time I don't wish to advance beyond the GB games, because this game has a planned sequel that is planned for the Advanced generation games.

Okay, I was never planning on having a lot, basically it was an excuse to add evolutions to Pokemon that actually need them, like Pinsir or Farfetch'd for example, but I don't need to add any Fakemon if people would rather not see them.

Yeah there is a good hack coming in scrapbox :D
I think you could change the title that its: Blue Hack: Pokemon Nightshade
I don't like firered hacks that much myself so I just checked this out without any reason but this is better than that.
Really scrapbox is full of firered/ruby hacks not anything else.

Why not just add pokemon from later generations?

I was planning on adding some G/S/C Pokemon, since that shouldn't be terribly hard to do, and I wouldn't be opposed to adding 3rd or 4th gen if I could make or get R/B compatible sprites for them
