Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness/Time/Sky difference.

    Did anyone play both D/T and Sky? I finished Darkness but would like to play Explorers of Sky. However I am not kind of person that is repeating a game too soon. Does Sky have a lot of extra content compared to Darkness/Time?

    I want to visit the Spinda's caffe, Shaymin etc, but I dont want to play a game with that "I already know what is about to happen" feeling, if you know what i mean :D
     
    Besides the Spinda Cafe and the Shaymin Village, Explorers of Sky also has a few extra dungeons, such as the Destiny Tower and the Star Cave.

    There are also five Special Episodes, in which you control some of the NPC's.

    There are more starter/partner options, such as Vulpix, Riolu, Shinx, and Phanpy.

    In the Amp Plains, Luxray and the Luxio tribe have been replaced with Manectric and the Electrike tribe.

    Also, you may get challenge requests from Mewtwo, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. In addition to that, Celebi is also recruitable, whereas it isn't in Explorers of Darkness.
     
    What a is repetition for you?
    If it's system then obviously yes, the system is the same.
    If it's story, yea, story is practically same there are just Shaymin and special episodes added just like cartoon said.
    But you should definitely give it a chance because of Spinda Café.
    It makes stat grinding much easier, lottery that is also in makes getting rare items also easier and you actually get normal way of obtaining legendaries again, just like cartoon said. Because once you get challenge letter, you just need to beat them to make them join.
    So it all comes to your sense of repetition. In a way, it's practically same with gameplay tweaks and more depth directed at more important NPCs.
    But I believe that Sky always deserves a chance as I consider it to be the best PMD ever made.
    And for T/D/S storyline that is really brilliant (and Riolu xD) you should definitely not miss it ;)
