Pokemon Gold/Silver hacking tools? ((GBC/Gen II.))

Greetings all.

I've taken a bit of an interest into Pokémon Gold / Silver hacking recently after playing some very impressive hacks -Mainly Pokémon dark energy-
and I wanted to try my hand at it a bit.

However, I'm struggling to find the tools that would make modifying the game possible, as not only are some tools not marked as being used for Gen II, but some of them are also supposedly outdated?

So, I was wondering if someone could perhaps create some kind of 'tool pack' of sorts for Gen 2 hacking? Could be a downloadable file or just a collection of links to the tools needed to hack Gen II.

The pokecrystal disassembly is by far the best tool for making gen 2 hacks. If you want to specifically hack gold/silver instead of crystal, you can use pokegold instead but it's less popular and less beginner-friendly.
