Pokemon Emulators on a MAC?

    Yo guys,
    I am going to go visit a friend of mine who wants to play Pokemon on the internet via like netbattle or a substitution, but all her computers are macs.
    I'm pretty sure netbattle doesn't work for Mac. However I would like to know, are there any other pokemon battle emulators I can hook her up with? We mostly just want to test between ourselves. I have heard of RS/Bot or something like that. I don't know if that one works with Mac though...
     
    You can try and see if Netbattle Works, or just look for another battle emulators.
     
    Netbattle won't work, there was a thread like this on Smogon a few months ago.

    You can get a Windows emulator for the Mac if you really want to use Netbattle.

    What about R/S bot? Is that Pokemon emulator still going around? Would that work with a Mac?
     
    R/SBot should work actually. It is an IRC based program, you'll need an IRC Client (X-Chat for Mac OSX I think), and a bit of knowledge on how to use IRC.
    Netbattle is not Mac compatible - and Visual Boy Advance is Mac compatible, I'm not sure about the VBA Link extension being compatible though. You need the VBA Link program to play between computers via a proper emulator.

    Windows XP is the newest version so far, and how much it cost you for the Mac part?

    Google for Visual Boy Advance - you should get to it almost immediately. Well none the less, its here ~ https://vba.ngemu.com But remember, these are useless without roms, and we're not allowed to distribute roms on this forum. >:

    As for the Bot, I couldn't find anything. Sorry.
